Downloading both ways: by launcher and by file link. Its a race between the snail and the turtle. Pitiful transfer speeds and my character's training is already exhausted. Bright idea not allowing queue changing during updates where we are forced to spend many days downloading patches at super slow speeds. I demand browser-based queue changes.

Update: repair.exe proved the best solution. Download speeds averaged the same as downloading the update file directly from the unpublished location: http://content.eveonline.com/708191/EVE_Online_681196-708191_win.zip Interestingly, repair.exe noted a lot of files which needed repairing. Still, downloads at 100kb/s are a little painful so maybe CCP can up this a bit?

Is the 734685-739267 patch available as a zip for Macs? My friend hasn't been able to get online since 1.3 dropped due to the launcher getting disconnected 50-97% through the download and having to start over from scratch.

The counsel should push this subject.

It's been a problem for too long there's no excuse as to why a fix has not been implemented.
