Probably a horribly fit arazu that I lost to a caracal like 5 years ago. It had CPRs on it, that kind of horrible :|

Never really lost anything terribly expensive, so it's mostly ******** experimental/situational fits gone wrong

a relatively cheap tengu. Thought I could update the skillqueue quickly on an alt when I was just one jump from the station in NPC 0, then somehow, completely forgot about the travelling tengu and when I alt-tabbed back I was sitting in the lone gate camp in all of those roughly 30 jumps in half armor already.

but, although cheaper, I have more of an issue with the losses I had due to windows graphic driver crashes at undock/jump. They feel worse than having f***** up by myself.

Interesting, I have almost lost my marauder to Amarr ark. When Caldari one I can run sitting on my both hands. Operating mouse and keyboard with sticks sticking out of my nostrils.

My worst loss is my first battleship. It was a Raven and died in the very first lvl4 mission I tried. I was owner of it for a whole 8 minutes...

It really hurt

I've lost alot more ships, most of them alot more expensive. The Raven is still the only one that created an emotion and is thus "worst".

Haven't had a loss yet that was all that bad, which worries me. Because I know it happens to everyone eventually!

I hope I behave well when its my turn. What?

Probably a billion isk Loki lost soloing. Shot the wrong thing Big smile. I've lost ships in much dumber ways but that was the most expensive.

Edit: I also lost a cheetah aggressing someone in hisec after jumping through a wh and failing to check my surroundings. Still killed him though CoolCoolCool

I once lost an Ishtar to some Angel rats because I had forgotten that they did explosive damage and that the Ishtar has a sizeable explosive resist hole… That was really embarrassing. Oops

In PvP: I lost a 100MN RF Warp Disruptor fitted Tengu whilst i was triple-boxing. Didn't pay attention and popped an auto-piloting pod on the wrong side of the Piekura/Mara gate. I got Concordokened for my troubles.

In PvE: Lost a 1400mm Scout fitted Tempest when i was a noob. (Too excited to fly a big ship and my skills were shocking at best.) Frigs got under the guns and scrammed me. I got my clock cleaned. I had to go back to my Coercer and start all over again. Oops

Closest Shave: Piloting an Ark JF into Null carrying a full load of fuel blocks. I think they popped a cyno for me next to an Alliance POS. Problem is, the character was an OOC Alt and the POS wasn't set up properly. So here i am watching my shields just vaporize before my eyes. I'm smashing the "warp butan" as my ship is continuing to become more red. For some reason that's when the webbers on the POS kicked in and i was warping. It took me a good few minutes for my hands to stop shaking enough that i could right click and select dock.

*Edited to add Closest Shave story.

my worst loss.

spent 2 weeks evaccing my former corp's assets from Delve when we lost our space. Hellcamped most of the time, no losses, np.

Last trip, loaded my JF with my my personal PvP assets, lots of mods, packed ships, recons, T3s, tons of stuff.
Made it to LS and warp to the HS gate, np.
I jump through, some strange popup comes, which I didnt read (lol.. I know..)

5 sec later, my Rhea gets owned by frigging customs police NPCs in effing Highsec, because I had an illegal booster on board..

Lost quite a lot of ISK, which I recovered fast.. but the lost dignity... priceless

Barely able to fly Gallente Battleships I went into the mission called 'stop the thief' (You know what's coming next, right? Cool).
So I popped the trigger first and was overwhelmed and webbed and scrammed and I lost my first Mega in the blink of an eye.

Low on funds, not wanting to say F* you to my agent I was able to scramble a new Mega together with the idea to loot my own wreck first then use the mods to refit my ship, buy what was missing and finish the mission.

So i warp in on my wreck at 0.
All rats are right there on the spot where I lost my first Mega, they web me they scram me and that was the end of Mega No.#2.

At that moment I'm frustrated beyond belief. Thinking of quitting because I have just enough isk left to buy 1 more Mega.
So for me that was the worst loss since I almost quit.

I didn't though, realized I was the one to blame, not the game, warped my largely empty Mega No.#3 100 km in off the rats, kitted them for another 50-100km away from my wrecks, warped out, warped back in, got my stuff, fitted my mega and finished the mission.

Silly me. Lol

arbitrator on an acceleration gate in for a lowsec mission when I was like 8 days old, everything since then I've fully expected to lose as I purposely put it in harm's way

edit: actually now that I really think about it, it was a prophecy in an L3 mission. Computer froze and when it got done un-f*cking itself I had 10% armor.

didn't make it to warp out.
