Something coming to hurt cap production?

I follow the sell orders each week looking for deals and lately I have been seeing a lot of people selling off cap ship and cap component BPO's. I know about the reprocessing nerf coming but is there something coming that will cause issues with cap production? Just wondering if I missed something in the patch notes or if it is just a coincidence. Just seemed odd to see a continuous stream of people all selling off their cap BPO's.

Just seemed like a lot more in the last week or so and wondered if I missed anything. Guess its business as usual. Thanks.

Nullsec outposts are going to have better refine rates on ores than anywhere else in the game. Therefore, nullsec cap builders will have less material costs to make carriers and dreads than low sec manufacturers do. Therefore, they will be able to price lowsec manufacturers out of the market. Therefore lowsec manufacturers are leaving the market.

This brings up an interesting question... Will some low-sec cap builders leave the market for greener pastures? How many have to leave the industry for cap prices to rise enough to increase the price of minerals? I know some alliances/corps have dedicated mining/manufacturing but many dont and just buy what they need from low builders/high miners.

You did miss something. The announcement of the reprocessing changes that are coming in the future. Whether this change is the reason why you've seen what you're talking about, I don't know.
