TIDI Titans Doomsday Nerf

Currently only working thing in TIDI are Titan doomsdays - when you compare this thing with other "ship class" experience during TIDI you will see that this is totally unbalanced.

Idea is quite simple.
DD effectiveness will be scaled by the TIDI factor.

So no TIDI - DD are doing 100 damage.
10% TIDI - DD are doing 10% damage.

Is this good solution?
No.
Bad?
Yes.

But at the same time it will put on the titan players in the same line of effectiveness like other players.
This will be also interim solution until tidi issue will be solved Roll

im going to assume that you are stating that in no tidi a titan user can fire at 100% damage, and you want to nerf the hell out of it to 10% damage in tidi? would you want to nerf dread damage while in or out of siege in 10% tidi too or nerf the amount a carrier / mom can rep in 10% tidi?

I think the next time you have a brain fart it might be best to think it over before posting. titans are not immune to tidi just like any other ship, they all have tidi issues and based on random clients some of them might be able to activate and work fine with the slow speed and mass objects on the field while others are having desync issues and struggle.

Ummm... lol... there is absolutely zero reason to nerf ANY ship's damage regardless of what weapon it fires and that applies with or without TiDi. It still takes the appropriate time to charge and cool down just like everyone else's mods so there is no reason to nerf the DD.

Have you tried to change target during TIDI?
Have you tried to cycle /reload guns during TIDI?

THey are not responsive , you loose few cycles because you cannot deactivate/activate them.

DD is apparently working on totally different script that dont have this issue .

My views on this are due too the large cycle on the dd it makes it easy for the server too keep up as the timer is 100 minutes cycle time on 10%. Unlike guns which cycle a lot quicker making the server having to catch up before you can use it and because of not activating / impatience alit of clicks and f1s are pressed making more load on the server and causing even slower reactions.

What your saying is that at 10% tidi, damage should be reduced to 10% fights would take even more time to do. Doomsday is meant to deal instant damage and regardless of tidi should stay that way.

But those are my views on this at least.

The issue is that at some point you can escalate fight to this point that only number of titans of field matter - as only DD actually works.

After HED we had B-R.
Alliances blocked escalation from other side, and even pull out subcaps to keep nood running for fight to keep going.

This was fun, but at the same time nightmare.
You had to choose, sleep or take care of your super.

What im suggesting will force all alliances to de-escalate and don't use bloobs if they want the batte to even happen.
This is not good solution, still it is better from 20h nightmare.

So, basically, you never want to see another supercap brawl? You think BR-, HED, Asaki and the rest were actually bad things and should never be repeated?

If you dont like tidi just stay out of tidi like i do. I understand that tidi is better then black screen or super lag, but tidi is bad anyway.

Oh i want, the one where all supers will die ;)
But it will not happen any time soon - and i think that it will not happen for a very long time.
Current entities are not interested in this kind escalation , or have a real reason why to do it.
