It can be challenging to just do your own thing in a corp without being bothered by demands that you join corp activities and fleet ops.

Why can't they just leave you alone?

All you want to do is travel around and see the sights, or you want to explore the dark depths of distant star systems, or you just want to do an occasional mission - and you want to do it in peace and quiet, without anyone bothering you.

There's those annoying Call To Arms that just makes you log out of the game and do something else. Or some 'Chief of Operations' telling you that you're fitting your ship wrong - "Do it THIS way!" Or there's someone else telling you that you've got to go defend a POS - it's your DUTY as a corp member to help the corp defend itself. Or someone else telling you to to stop mining or exploring and go get some kills on the killboard to make the corp look good.

Blah blah blah.

Sure, I know that's all great for those corps where that kind of thing is important. And it's great for those people that love doing all those things.

But it's not great for you.

You know that's what this game is mostly about, but you want to play it differently. You want to just to do your own thing without anyone bothering you, and without having to deal with joining in on PvP operations, and without having to pay exorbitant tax rates.

So you've been looking around for something different.

And now you've found it.

ABOUT US

Touring New Eden (or just TOURING) is a unique corporation for solo pilots and nomads who love to travel around or explore nullsec and do their own thing, while avoiding PvP.

As a corp we have no base of operations. The galaxy itself is our home. There's no POS's or territory to defend, and no corp operations you'll be required to join. Our members live everywhere.

We are a non-profit corp operating with a ZERO % TAX RATE. We accept donations from members to help the corp pay for the skill books program, ship loss reimbursements, and corp medals.

What members do in TOURING is entirely up to them. There's only two rules we have:

  1. avoid PvP (we teach you how), and
  2. enjoy yourself!

ARE YOU INTERESTED?

If you're a pacifist, a traveller, a nomad, a mission runner, or a solo pilot who doesn't want to be tied down to any one location or activity, then you are welcome to join us.

With no corp HQ you can apply anywhere, and continue doing what you were doing before. The only change you'll find is that you've joined a family of pilots just like you.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

These are the requirements for joining us:

  1. you must want to learn how to travel safely in nullsec and avoid PVP
  2. you must want the freedom to do your own thing, in your own way, in your own time

MISSION RUNNERS AND MINERS WANTED

We're open to those that want to run missions and do mining, and if we can get more people interested in those activities, we'll set up fleet operations for them. You can join in on missions and mining with others, if you want to.

It won't be mandatory. It won't be a requirement. It'll just be there for members to be part of if they want.

Allowing our members to do what they want is our underlying foundation, and that will never change. But we'll be making PVE fleet ops available for those that want to be part of them.

THE RANGERS

We have a division called The Rangers with the mission of providing scouting services for PVE operations, as well as travel into and throughout nullsec. If you need a scout to help keep you safe, then talk to a Ranger for support.

If you're interested in becoming a Ranger, these are the requirements for membership:

  • you can fly a covert ops cloaked ship
  • you're an experienced nullsec traveller
  • you would love to help other members get into and through nullsec
  • you've been a corp member for at least 1 month


We need more Rangers to help out., so come and talk to me if you're interested.

WARDECS

We don't let them affect us. Most, if not all, of the wardecers out there are looking for easy highsec kills. If you head into lowsec or nullsec, they can't follow you. You're safe.

Sort of. Out there in lowsec or nullsec, however, everyone either wants you dead or is dead afraid of you. At least you know where you stand. TOURING helps you develop skills to travel safely through lowsec and nullsec.

You avoid complacency, you stay clear and focused, and the end result is a more interesting and exciting gaming experience, while actually being a lot safer than in highsec - when you use the right skills.

You won't believe me until you experience it for yourself.

If you're even remotely interested in this concept, come and talk to me. Ask me questions. Find out more. If you're a pacifist PVE'er, explorer or nomad, then you're a member of the TOURING family. You just don't know it yet.

SHIP REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

That's right, we have a ship replacement program. But we're not going to replace any and every ship, there have to be some restrictions.

We'll reimburse you for the loss of any ship up to 10 million ISK, if it's lost in nullsec to a PVP attack. And as long as it's not fited for PVP itself.

We're not going to encourage you to PVP, we're going to encourage you to get out there in your cheap exploration and travel ships, to travel out there in the darkest depths of nullsec and avoid PVP.

And if you can't, we'll help cover the cost of your loss for you.

We're currently at war, but still open for recruitment. We don't let a bit of highsec conflict stop us from our activities, or teaching members how to avoid getting killed.

Forgive me for asking, but looking at your corp in Dotlan, I noticed that about half your members left around the beginning of April. Can I ask if this was related to the war you mention, or was there some other cause?

I did a huge cull of inactive members. We have a policy of removing members who haven't logged in to the game for more than 3 months.

They're free to re-join us if they come back into the game, but I want to try and ensure that the corp has active members only, and isn't a dead pool of inactive accounts.
