Yah, I always thought Caldari were the bad guys too. All that local chat I see about being really bad must be bure pollocks.

Anyhows........what's all this about Innia? Can someone explain in under 25 real words, preferably in an orderly fashion, what has happened please? Lol

Trolling aside, most people like Scylus and Mira are too hard on their own militia. You bite off more than you can chew by trying to scale uniform fleet comps beyond 20+ pilots. Sure, Gallente achieves some level of uniformity beyond 20+ pilots at the plex fighting level. But we're more the exception than the rule. Don't compare yourself to that. If you do, you're just gonna beat yourself over the head and rage in the process.

Heck, I hear FCs on my side whine and complain about lack of uniformity when they try to do something beyond T1 Cruisers with fleets beyond 20+. They just don't understand that militia fleets can't scale at that level. Especially when you try to integrate multiple corps/alliances into the fleet. If you want discipline and conformity, keep it small and between 1-2 corps. There are numerous case studies on multiple militia corps who have shown that it can work, past and present.

As for Innia, it was a horrible system to live in and I like to think Caldari were put out of their misery with being evicted. There is better real estate out there than Innia. It's probably a hit to the ego and pride to lose your home system. But why let pride get in the way of having fun with a video game. And I think you'll have tons more fun now you don't have to deal with holding down a huge system that was sandwiched between a pirate corp capable of batphoning for caps and a Gallente system that reported your every movement. And oh, you've freed yourself of the insanity that goes on with the largescale plex fighting fleets where 5 different people are talking over each other . See; lots of upside to being evicted :)

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

people give ***** about FW systems ?

I wonder why so many people mind taking all the FW space i.e. not loosing it.

Yaay for offensive plexing. controlling a majority of the FW space pretty much sucks. at least thats my expierence so far.

The plexing is bad and you cant sustain it anyway.

I don't think many people care too deeply about FW systems or warzone control in general.

They do care about inconveniencing the 'enemy' and gaining the bragging rights when a system gets flipped - particularly if the system is home to a corporation(s) or alliance(s) of relevance.

There's a lot of faffing around in FW where nothing of any major consequence occurs for long periods but sometimes the stars align and a really good prolonged fight for a piece of real estate occurs.

For me personally, those occasions are what keeps me in this part of the game. It's cheap, fast, furious and a whole lot of fun.

Yeah, I could do without spending meaningless hours chasing farmers from plexes but you know what, even that can be viewed as a challenge if you have a particular mindset. Lately I've started trying to sell 'plexing permits' for the farmers who frequent Ladistier.
No one has yet taken me up on the offer (and I doubt anyone ever will) but I've gotten some good conversations going with one or few of them. It's almost therapeutic to put a face on the faceless. Lol

The game is what you make it. You always seem to get out what you put in. Maybe you need to put more in?

Gallente attacked the home system of Innia starting Sunday before downtime. It flipped Tuesday about 10 hours after downtime. I have 6 words to spare!

Crap, just used them up. Now I'm above the limit.

And remember, from Diana Kim's perspective it is the Gallente that are evil! .

That would be Mira. I get hate mail when I run a T1 Frigate Fleet ;) We could probably use some uniformity.

Aaaaaaaand it's started. I always balked at pushing offense, 'cause frankly it's never gonna be as fun as it was when we lived next door to each other. So much fun. Gonna miss that, but hunting goons day in and day out is pretty damn fun too.

Was the easiest damn thing to scout, too! 3/4 or more of the major players were within 4j of our home, including pies! But yeah I'm on Mira's side with the lack of good fleet doctrines day in and day out. Twice I brought a carrier to a major fight where a good chunk of us, if not the majority, were in t1 cruisers for support. Nope, not anymore ♥

If any of you get super bored, c'mon up to NPC Pure Blind. Major target-rich environment within 4j any direction of us, and the guys that live here are active. SoE/Mordus level 4's for monies, near many 0.0 entrance points.

In FW, winning is losing. Long live the war™

So coming back from a month break finding Innia capped, I have to ask... why? Everyone in the FW forum wants to ***** about the farmers and lack of fights, then you go and cap the Caldari base where fleets formed.

Will someone please explain how this benefits anyone who likes to pvp in fleets?

You have chosen to chase down stabbed farmers instead of fleets now because there's no convenient place to re-ship, and I am betting most people with millions in ships at innia just dropped FW altogether to get their crap out.

Less targets is a good thing right?

Capping Innia = great for bragging rights.. absolute garbage for faction WARFARE.
