As you can see linked below a CCP employee i stating that 6% of 1220 posts were negative about the new font. This means only 73 posts were made negatively about the thing, according to their maths. I made 63 posts myself last night in various threads. ( perhaps I was only counted as 1, but that's not what is written )

really? seriously? gimme a break. roughly half of my posts were in support of other negative posts about the threads and the other half in rebuttal to positive posts about the font. Which means we at LEAST at 90 just in one thread. There again, what does "somewhat neutral" mean? can we be more vague? The thread now has close to 500 posts in it, might wanna try recounting them. Also might wanna count the likes for the neg threads and positive ones... you might get some opinions of people who didn't post.

I have a question for you CCP... How many Font threads did you move out of GD into Test Server in the weeks before the patch? How many responses did you get there, and how many more would you have gotten if you hadn't moved them to the back closet?

How many folks now are willing to overlook the crappy font, because the rest of the patch is quite good, and you've lowered the bar so much in terms of our expectations with the last 18 months, this patch looks even better.

We're not stupid, we folks that like to play spreadsheets online :)

Don't pull numbers out of your ass, and expect us to believe they're real. If you simply aren't going to change the font, fine. Say that. Don't lie. It only makes you look stupid... and kinda like a liar. I'm sure you can deflect by saying perhaps you collected your data before many of these posts were made.

If you do, go ahead and tell us what time you did it. I'll be glad to check your numbers for you, if you have a time-frame to go by.

Stupid fonts are one thing, but lying about **** got you in trouble before, didn't it?

I don't see why optimizing the old font was out of the question. It would of been so much less work for the dev team as a whole -allowing ccp to be able to fund more important expansion projects.

Pretty sure they only counted everyone once. Bolded the part that might lead a person to believe that. Why would they count 1 person's opinion more than once?

Also, Icelandic math.

OP just find new brain, you lost the old one in your rage wars. You have troubles with that every time new expansion hits TQ

But I can tell you the new font seriously detracts from the appearance of the game.

As others have said, new players joining eve definately will have no idea that the old font was hard for some folks to read.

They won't think "ok, it's ugly as hell, but at least I can read it now"

They'll just think "OMG it's ugly as hell."

And who hired the Caldari to design the font? You can have both function and form...

Even if you are correct in your interpretation of the post. 6% of 960 would mean only 57 detractors. I'll count them up right quick and let you know how far they are off. Will take a few minutes. Please stand by.

Here's you're list of unlikers JUST FROM THE FIRST 10 pages of one thread in one forum section in a few hours. It's 57 which means there are far more. which means CCP pulled numbers out of their ass. period.
