EVE True Story Question

Hey there i have an honest question regarding the EVE True Story issue :

In the early hours of February 5, 2009, one man single-handedly destroyed the aggressive Band of Brothers alliance and brought an end to the Great War, the largest war in the history of EVE Online. Inspired by actual player-driven events within the universe of EVE Online, superstar writer Daniel Way tells the stranger-than-fiction tale of the most popular true story of the last decade!

So as I understand who is this person who " one man single-handedly" destroyed BoB. Are they to mean that this was Mittani? My question is why doesn't the BoB defector himself who actually technically disbanded the alliance get more credit. I don't even know his name(what is it?) Wouldn't he be the man who single handedly destroyed BoB over someone who organized the assault after the disbanding? What do you guys think?

Thank you kindly!

Um, the BoB director has been in the story a lot more than The Mittani so far.

I would say he's had the largest part of the story devoted to his actions.

History is written by the egotistical.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Jesus did you even read the story? Haargoth is the guy who did the disband, and he's the one that did the disband in the comic thus ~winning the war~

I'd have figured basic comprehension of events would have been better for your average window licker since this book had pictures and everything but welp.

There was a story contest a while back to find the story to write about, the Mittani wrote a story about this ordeal. They went with his "dramatized" version because "director gets bored with his alliance and disbands the alliance" isn't a very good story for a comic book. Also its probably too short.

The Coreli Corporation is recruiting.

Get Hollywood on it, and add some half-flamed out actress and Michael Bay for special effects... and we may have a 14 hour long trilogy.

Nope, I didn't read the story i read the advert on facebook and figured i'd ask because although I played before I was inactive when it happened and wasn't sure how much of the story would be skewed toward the Mittani and how much was unbiased. I would like to though if its not that biased.

Is this thread about BoB the builder? When did he die?

Who killed him? Cry

Its pretty much over glorified.

There's a lot missing in that story and a few details have been changed, most details have been changed. Then he told a bunch of mindless drones to upvote the story.

Either way Mittens has more fapping material at hand. Can't wait until the CFC falls!

"Go Goon or Go Home"

Perfect description of the biggest problem with Eve.

Only with Peter Jackson as the Director.

Anyone else, 2 hour movie.

14 hours is a specialty of Peter Jackson, to better tell a story while fleecing the public for 3 times the cost they would normally pay.

Is there a write up, about the great northern war, BoB/Goon War telling multiple sides of the story with little bias anywhere that anyone knows of?

Actually the general consensus amongst goons is "It's cool to see our name in print but this is a god awful comic book."

It honestly could have used some creative writing to handwaive away some of the goofyness that is eve. Even introducing terminology like jump clones was.... bad.

You aren't going to get a writeup without bias because all sides involved were at each others throats for years.

If you want point for point facts:

1: Haargoth tried to spy on us, he was only invited to join as a part of a recruitment scam.
2: He enjoyed our culture more than the rather burned out BoB culture at the time (Goonswarm internally is significantly different than what we show as our public face, sorry but it's true)
3: Right before he was kicked he stated "Hey I have roles in tinfoil...."
4: Mittens gets involved and they game out how to steal everything
5: Darius Johnson abandons all of our sov and invades, the NC and PL and various others that had reason to strongly dislike BoB dogpile in as well.
6: We win till we headshot ourselves later on.

You have a better chance of finding a Vangel, with a cargo full of T2 BPO's, on Contract, in Jita, for 1 ISK.

What the hell is up with the art style of #2 and #4? Book #2 was weird, but #4 looks like some hybrid Tintin knockoff.

History is written by the victor. Did you know that just after Sir Molle received the bad news at 2am via phone call he was seen rolling around in the middle of the street shitting uncontrollably?
