Hello people of eve. I've been playing eve for around 40 days now and i am a missionrunner. I have come to realize that even if i am not looking for it pvp will sometimes find me. I have not been ganked yet but not from lack of some people trying. I run frigates mainly as they are fun and am now looking for someone to teache the ways of pvp so i may at least fight back amd ha e a chance. I am in a corp with some rl buddies and am not looking to join a corp.

Have your corp join fw and base in lowsec. Or if the other guys aren't ready yet form a second corp to do that with. You will get pvp experience. Be prepared to lose a lot of frigs and dessys as you learn pvp techniques and fittings. (and even after you learn them Oops)

edit there is eve uni, etc also

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Unless your willing to join a corp that has people who dedicate they're time towards teaching new guys or try and practice yourself while getting basic information of written guides.... Your not gonna find dudes that don't charge a healthy sum for pvp lessons .


I recommend you join eve uni , or like the above said join with the corp in fw but u don't rly have to base in low sec for that.

Furthermore, if u enjoy flying frigs then i guarentee ur gonna make more money aswell from fw instead of running lvl 1 hs missions

If the purpose of the corp is for all your rl buds to hang out I'm sure a channel could work the same magic. But if you insist on sticking in corp there are loads of public fleets that to me has been very helpfull, RvB Ganked, Spectre Fleet and Redemption Road are all nice options that usually fly low SP stuff one can afford to loose.

Otherwise a tip I got and tried - make a fit, and really think hard about all the mods you put on so you got a feel for your ship - build 10-20 of these, and just go out low sec and find fights. Get used to the D-scanner and just go out have fun.

Think I've also read about Agony Unleased running educational fleets (for a small price)- their Wiki is otherwise great reading material.
