Unable to build customs office gantry at factory outposts

It seems we are unable to build the new customs office Gantry at Amarr factory outposts in 0.0. I have not been able to verify this is a bug with other outposts or stations. Trying to build the gantry produces the following error 'This product cannot be manufactured at this facility.'

I had this same problem. It appears that the Gantry's are considered an "orbital" and Amarr outposts cannot build orbitals. I couldn't find any POS mods that could build them either, so I went next door to a minmatar refinery outpost and built them all there. Kind of silly that you can't manufacture at a factory though.

I opened a petition about this a few minutes ago. I'll update if they reply. :)

Team Pi here, we'll test this now and get back to you, please reply if you have any more info regarding CO gantry manufacturing problems

I confirm that Amarr outposts manufacturing lines does not have "Orbitals" in "Productible categories" when you hover an assembly line. This prevents the construction of CO Gantries in those outposts.

Minmatar outposts have Orbitals in the productible categories, and you can manufacture gantries using those lines.

Edit: Tested in DW-T2I (Amarr) and P-33KR (Minmatar), on TQ.

Thanks for the info, after consideration we decided that indeed this is not desirable and have opted to resolve this so that production of Orbitals will be possible in Amarr outposts. I can't promise exactly when this change will be deployed but it is very likely that this will be within the next few weeks.

look if you're trying to pass this off as an intentional decision that is getting reversed that reflects way more poorly on your judgment than "shoot we goofed"

deployment goofs are expected and this one didn't break my windows install

however actually deciding not to allow them to be built in amarr stations would be groin-grabbingly ******** even if you "considered" it subsequently and realized the mistake

Dude thanks (preemptively) for the fix but that has got to be the most convoluted way I've ever seen to say "oh crap, we missed a checkbox -- we'll fix it ASAP." And this is coming from someone who gets paid to say such things.

I think that it relatively clear from my first post that Amarr outposts inability to manufacture Customs Office Gantries was not something we were aware of before today, the investigation we needed to do was to the racial variation to outpost manufacturing. We had determine whether the orbitals group (customs offices) should adhere to the previous restrictions in the outpost manufacturing prefs that (for some reason beyond our comprehension) decided Amarr outposts would not include orbitals.

It certainly was not deliberate to exclude Amarr outposts and the restriction seemed pointless so we have readied a fix to be deployed when a window is next available.

Herp derp 0.0 by not allowing these things to be built in a amarr station is like not allowing the new Ti3 BC BPO's to be researched in an caldari station.

How about expediting the 'when ever we can be arsed' to 'we should work on that bug for the next fix deployment'?
