Bring back Armageddon day

For those that don't remember Armageddon day gave Concord the day off and basically allowed whatever whereever.

Who would like to see this brought back for a day or maybe a whole weekend?

Not forever, just a special event CCP could hype beforehand. I know people will still complain. But hey, it would only be for a day or two. You don't like it stay docked. It could be the little "push" some would need to venture into the PVP world.

Thoughts?

Only if they moved concord to Null for the same event.

Alienating large chunks of your customer base to amuse a small percentage is a good long term business strategy, I support this idea.

The Coreli Corporation is recruiting.

I'll give you a +1

I'd just dock up the indy ships for the time being. An ISBoxed fleet of linked stabbers should be fun to harvest some pie rat tears with. Big smile

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

Reverse Null and Highsec for a day. Think of all the crying carebears in highsec.... think of the mass CONCORDOKKEN in null....

Allow all the Jita Spam Bots back for the day..but make it so that they only show up in WH...

As for lowsec, lets not go there. Tis a silly place.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I think they should do this but not tell anyone about it beforehand. Just let everyone figure out on their own.Twisted

They wouldn't complain (Okay. They would, but whatever), they just wouldn't log in that day. The only people in high sec would be low/null guys looking for fun and finding none.

The only way this could possibly work is if it wasn't announced and CCP just did it with no warning.

Well, if they REALLY wanted to do a load test, a smacking heinous load test, call such an event with jump bridges to Jita. Bring in the titans!

Since people generally don't want to lose things for someone else's enjoyment (because I ain't bringing a Nestor into someones killboard sorry) make it temporary - roll back the server.

I think the biggest casualty will be the hamster.

Bring back DEEEEP Space!

That's why it won't happen. For the majority of hi sec players, it would simply be a "Don't Play EVE Day" which is hardly something CCP wants to happen.

That would be quite interesting. Changing the sec status of a null system could cause a whole lot of other things to break. I'm not suggesting this. Just give concord they day off. New opening of Quafe Donut Depot or whatever. Startup to shutdown no Concord. a free for all.

You could theoretically change everything to 0.0 for the day. I guess this would accomplish the same thing. Also allowing Titans, Carriers, Dreads, Warp Dissruption Field Generators and bombs into areas they normally couldn't operate in. Might be the only chance quite a few players would ever get to see them in action.

If there was that much resentment towards a planned event such as this. They could do a rollback (defeating the purpose of the event IMHO) but appeasing the majority of hi-sec players as you put it.

If there were a rollback for 24hrs there would be no excuse not to participate. Although I think there would be more crying about a rollback. It was simply an idea to expose players to facets of the game they may have never seen or experienced.

C'Mon, I mean how cool would it be to see a Titan bridge into Jita?

I asked my wife if we could have a threesome with another girl. She said no. She's said no for 21 years so far. I don't much expect her to change her mind. Much like I don't expect to wake up one day and find CONCORD gone from hisec although this idea gets suggested about once a week.

Although that sounds like a good idea, unfortunately the contract I signed has a significant cancellation penalty.

This is where you went wrong. Does she reply by asking for a threesome with a man?

Anyway, +1 to OP
