if you enter the name of a character you can't confirm with enter

the search window that opens after clicking next can't be navigated with the keyboard. it should be. the input focus thingy should also be on an eventual exact match

  1. When sorting contracts by price..... Don't show WTB contracts as negative prices. It's just silly.
  2. Have a filter for the different contract types (WTB, WTS, Auction)

  3. ADD AN OPTION TO CREATE MULTIPLE IDENTICAL CONTRACTS SIMULTANEOUSLY|

1. Be able to see inside your own courier contracts. I set it up, why won't it let me see it afterwards?

2. Clone a contract, if the remaining assets for said contract are available in the hanger, automatically add them, don't make me re-pick them from a little list.

3. Add a context sensitive drop area to the contracts window. Items which are dropped on the area should automatically be entered into new contract with the same details as the open window (availability, drop-off, price, reward, collateral etc) and open the dialog on the confirm page with all the other details filled in.

4. Allow corporate contracts to be made from personal hangers, or significantly increase the number of contracts an individual can make.

5. Calculate and show time taken on courier contracts

6. In contracts, show the type icon next to the name.

7. Make the "Get Contracts" button become available faster. It seems like there's a small but noticeable delay when changing about the options to the button becoming available again.

8. In "My Contracts" there should be a "Status: All"

9. "to" should be capitalised in the "My Contracts" grid view header *nitpick*

10. Fix the context sensitive menus. Why is it giving me an option to "delete" contracts which it knows perfectly well are undeletable (due to having a "Finished" status displayed right there next to it). The same goes for things like copying blueprint copies, so on and so forth. If you want to keep them, at least have them greyed out.

11. Allow me to view the fitting of a ship in an item exchange, in the same dialog as if you drag a fitting to chat.

Would be nice:

1. Issue a suppressible warning to double-check any contracts which involve the transfer of PLEX.

2. A warning if the current market value is majorly out of sync with the asking price when accepting a contract.

You could say 1 and 2 are making things too "safe", but the UI is not all that great... and the market window already does it, add it to contracts as well.

what happened to the new contract system we were going to get one year??

merc contracts should be forefront for sure .. the current system for allies which can be free is a bit lame and unhelpful for merc corps who want to make money from wars.. instead of veteran billion isk corps who accept just for kills because they can ..

a proper merc market using contracts too ensure no one gets scammed and that mercs can make good money fulfilling the contracts..

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Stop the filters automatically switching on 'Exact Type Match' when you search for an item through right-click menus, it does my ******* nut Smile

If there's anyway to put actual times on contracts instead of the current 'Less than an hour' actually lasting four hours thing that would be similarly amazing.

Also got an expired contract from 2011 still on my outstanding list and unremovable. Not a big thing but its pretty weird.

Being able to create 'template contracts' that allow you to always use the same contract type and recipient (and possibly other options depending on the contract type) would be really nice for moving stuff between alts and frequently repeated courier contracts.

This is especially helpful for contracts where you are requesting an item. We use them for requesting fuel isotopes and having an easily reusable template would be a convenience.

There appears to be a lot of people who don't know that "Copy contract" exists.

Creating a contract from a saved ship fitting would be swell

Allowing drugs to be contracted, or at least ships/cans with drugs in them ejected instead of flat-out denying the contract.

Also, when looking through contracts available in an area, it would be great to be able to also filter/constrain by faction.

Example: looking for available cruiser-class ships in a station and being able to filter out non-Amarr ships.

Remember last location for courier contracts, or be able to save defaults.

Look inside my own contracts.

Close off a contract by just hitting enter a few times after entering data. Too many clicks.

Please allow bid increment to be set on auction contracts.
People auctioning very expensive things need to decide, whether they want high starting bid and very huge big increment making auction almost obsolate, or low starting bid, risking item will sell deep under price.
I am sure this chance could be also welcomed by scammer community.

- Allow all boosters in contracts. Just give the buyer a warning. This is a huge annoyance when trading fitted ships that had boosters in the hold from elsewhere. And requires intervention from a GM if you're trying to contract from an alt that's been space-tombed.

-There's a bug with having more than 100 courier contracts in progress that will prevent some contracts from being completed until others are.

-When completing courier contracts if the number of contract operations can be increased from 5 it'd be nice and would speed things up when I bulk complete things. This would go along with the slowness someone else mentioned.

-Move the complete and break package or fail options further away from each other in the right click menu.

-As someone else mentioned, allow corp contracting from member hangars if they have roles.

-Show the station in the contract search in addition to the system.

-Add a way to bulk accept contracts to end the clickfest.

In rough order of personal priority, most important first

1) Improved template / copy ability.
Say I've contracted 1 fit ship. Let me copy that contract and have it pick all the loose parts from my hangar floor and turn it in to a duplicate of the fitted ship on contract (including things in cargo holds).
Ideally whether the contracting alt has the skill to use the item or not, it's not as if they are going to fly it! Fittings wise in general actually it would be nice if you could attach things to ships even if you can't use it. It makes central storage easier to work with.

2) For "want to buy" corporate contracts let me complete them from corporate hangars rather than forcing me to move all the stuff in to a personal hangar first.
Also for all WTB contracts please let it take part of a stack rather than make me split the stack in to exactly the right amount first.

3) Contracting from inside cans would be REALLY handy, even if it is just unlocked stacks. If you make this an extension of the inventory UI then allowing things to be taken from locked stats *if* the user has the necessary rights / password would be nice. Given how audit logs work relocking the stack afterwards would be useful there.

4) Courier contracts, allow me to see in the history after I've accepted them what the contents are. I can see the parcel contents at that point anyway since I have it in my hands, might as well let me audit things decently afterwards.

5) Courier contracts, allow me to subcontract it for multiple hops (this one is probably tricky). Think of this a bit like the way UPS uses different things for transport modes between different shipping hubs.
So in other words I have a courier from Jita -> Itamo. Let me set up a courier sub-contract for Jita -> Maurasi and a second one from Maurasi -> Itamo. Obviously the 2nd sub contract wouldn't appear until the first one is delivered but it would allow me to arrange stuff to happen overnight. And yeah, the original parcel would have to have no containers so that the sub contracts don't become "triple wrapped" or similar.

transport contracts are one of the coolest things eve has but are so boring to use that i avoided them for a long time.

i imagine a redesign could look like this:
- you press the create contract button on the neocom and choose transport contract
- you drag whatever you want to have transported into the window from assets or inventory
- you pick destination, isk values etc (remembers a short history of values you entered in past contracts)
- done

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I would like a loan contract to make a return but with some changes.
- First the item is labelled with 'value' and the recipient has to pay up this 'collateral' sum to acquire the item in contract.
- if the item is destroyed or otherwise not returned in to a place mentioned in contract due time the contract will be negated and the 'collateral' has to be paid.
- you could still 'rent' an item without payment if you wish.

- Rented item does not have to be an item it could even be something 'intangible' such as system SOV, POS or a station.
Sov owning alliance could create a 'renting charter' that would last until contract is void after that rented items change hands back to owner of the original charter.
So basically a formal way of renting a sov but these items could also be sold as normal in the market (think about a real estate market), once sold the change is permanent (so no need to shoot structures).
It would obviously be up to buyer if they can trust the seller not to take back their previously sold station or sov. Twisted

Other conditions:
WH items cannot be sold or rented this way for obvious reasons, a POS is sold or rented as is and if it's rented the owner is still the owner of the said POS what is rented are exclusive access rights for the structures but renter can only add fuel to the POS not remove any from it also the 'land lord' always retains access to fuel the tower during renting period (but has otherwise no access to structures).

Now obviously changes like the above to a POS mechanics would require someone to actually redo the POS hangar access not to be dependent on corporation roles.
So in other words "what you own you can rent as you see fit".
