Sleipnir model

I love the current command ship line, both as functionality and as aesthetics.
They're all great ships to fly, and there's plenty of variety to suit most skillsets.
However, I do have one issue with it.

I would really like to have the old Sleipnir model back.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Hurricane model.
It's slick and speedy, it looks great.

But it isn't the right model, for a ship like the Sleipnir.

I don't really know how to express this, but I feel as if it lacks the brutality, the sheer praticality of the Cyclone model.
That odd, awkward model, coupled with the camo, the only EVE camo/model combination that really worked.
It didn't look nice, it didn't look fancy.

It looked lean and mean.

It looked like business.

But that's just my opinion.

Please, do consider bringing back the old model, and switching the Claymore to the Hurricane model.
Yes, it would be counter-intuitive, but who cares?
They have two Attack battleships; why not swapped CS models?

It's Minmatar, we all know that they're crazy.

Alt posting because yes.

I don't think that CCP will bother with this, there isn't enough request for this feature.

What does this have to do with OP's post?

that all the debating and arguments have been done, and not even that long ago.

also that even though most ppl had mixed feelings for the sleip, it was an all or nothing deal. and the overwhelming majority asked for the models to change.

fozzie also thought it may be confusing when respective command ships were using the weapon systems of their T1 variants except the sleip.

I know all of that.
And I also know that ship models aren't set in stone, and that CCP will respond to popular requests.
So I am simply expressing my opinion, and trying to see if there are other players who think it my way.

I hate the 'cane model and I too would love to have the old Sleipnir back. In the meantime I reskilled for missiles and fly Claymore. I will never sit in the Sleipnir again unless it's new t2 model differ tremendously from 'cane as it is today...

actually i feel the exact opposite about the sleipnir, while the old model was great, the new one make it look way more dangerous and mean.

also, it does fit better regarding the ship's legacy

Do any of you care at all that changing the model had ramifications beyond flying a god-awful train-looking hull?

Do any of you care at all that changing the model again will require those same ramifications all over again?

Not that it will actually happen. The final T2 models are not set in stone, but it is set in stone that these command ships will forever be based on the T1 hulls they're currently made from.

Hurricane Sleipnir should have been done a long time ago, when Tier 2 BCs were introduced. This is correcting an old mistake that was allowed to go on because of laziness.
