Scamming spying and all the dirty things are a part of EVE, carebear or not I think we can all agree on that. These things all take part of the meta game as much as they do in the actual game. I feel that if Erotica 1 was actually warned by CCP and/or asked to stop, he would of gladly done so if they felt it was truly bad for the game.

However much you hate Erotica 1 or feel what a sadistic person he is, we all know he is playing the scammer character to some extend and to be honest he represents that part of community fairly well, he is one of the bigger names who represent that side and it would be a little sad to see that go, we all know there is some roleplaying element here.

I don't actually know if Erotica 1's ban is permanent, but surely we can give the guy another chance, and not let the darker side of EVE's community die?

Lets be REAL....The guy crossed the line he was awarded his punishment and nothing we can do about it but LEARN from his mistake.

It's just that simple.

Whats simpler yet is the 'victim' didn't feel he was tortured, also feels Ripard's crusade did more harm than good, and all the pansy trained seals who ever lost a mackinaw to a ganker (or scammer) chimed in with 400 pages of 'kill the witch!" heresy against HTFU...

What I recommend is for the OP to do what we are doing, shoot a carebear in the face in response...you will feel better than trying to talk the Ripards et al out of their pansy ways.


It was never about the victim, tbh the victim was an idiot, doesnt mean Ero should get away with it and continue his sociopathic behaviour.

And to those of you saying people need to HTFU and were even suggesting a seperate "hardcore" server -AND- were claiming this was just a witchhunt headed my Ripard Teg: Just like in real life, if you do not fit into the community you will automatically be outcast. Ero didnt adapt and thus got ganked. Guess he needs to HTFU.
The meta doesnt get more hardcore than actually getting your enemy banned, so if you "HTFU" people really believe Ripard is the cause behind the ban. you should be praising him rather than calling him out.

it doesnt change the fact that some "players" abused the game, and the dedication to the game of some players, as a lever to abuse these players.

Not to mention, at least Sohkar had the intelligence to know he made a mistake....

There has been no such admission from the whiney bitches complaining about an alleged E1 ban (Which again, WE DO NOT KNOW E1 was banned or for how long)

I completely agree, but again defending my case in terms of a permanent ban, it's very mixed messages if a CSM member who actually ridicules another EVE player in real life gets a 30 day ban, and another one gets a permanent ban for something which in my eyes is a lot less worse that happened over a virtual teamspeak server.. where the victim could defend themselves and take choices that would of changed the outcome. How do you feel about that in particular?

Troll Disclaimer: Again I don't actually know if Erotica 1 has a permanent ban, just wondering a man's vision regarding this.

Why bother reporting it when we all know CCP has heard the recording and is well aware of Sokhar's crimes against the TOS and his fellow player? And I'm merely pointing out an obvious double standard. Are you so ignorant as to think that's "crying" or are you just trying to troll? Roll

It's CCP's product, they've made as specific a statement as they are going to make. I.E. we trust the overwhelming majority of players to not do stupid ****. Those that do will be dealt with.

Ostensibly because a pansy CSM to take umbrage at Sohkars overt racism has not yet been located? (Or they are too busy patting themselves on the back agreeing with CCP's one-sided ruling...defenders of the sandbox indeed...)

Reporting E1 seemed to work, why not give it a go unless you just want to complain and stamp your feet that CCP is unfair. Unsubbing works too. If so many of you are butthurt, send CCP a clear message when you drop your sub.

even if sokhar broke the tos, one has to see that he was made to get into this state of mind for hours.
it also doenst negate the things e1 & co did.
if you want to start another topic to argue if or if not sokhar should be punished for his threads and insults, go ahead.

hmmm IDK if ER1 should be banned or not, that was still is up to CCP. I myself is not so dumb to believe that anyone will give me double the isk. I have sent free isk to some players a couple mil really but was I scamed in sending it, IDK. The mistake I think was ER! taking it to TS and then putting on the web. this game can be cruel and heartless and some players can be crueler than others, but that's just the way the real world works also. Peace all.
