I would like to know more about the strengths and weaknesses of each strategic cruiser. Here is some information I found and I would like to know if this information is still accurate and what else we can add to it!

Here is a breakdown of the pros and cons of each of the strategic cruisers;

Legion (Amarr)

the good: Highly versatile, great damage projection, can be fitted as a neuter, good tank in almost any setup, can fit HAMs, Legion armour boosts <3, probably best armour T3 for running sites

the bad: No real EWAR or tackle benefit unlike the others (Loki webs, Proteus points, Tengu jams) limit its usefulness in PvP, bad when set up with a cloak

Loki (Minmatar)

the good: Brings the most utility, awesome webs, can be armour or shield tanked, good with cloak subsystem if you mean to bring utility, probably most useful out of the four with capitals on field

the bad: DPS is pretty poor

Proteus (Gallente)

the good: Best cloaky ship while maintaining high DPS, especially with blasters, blasters > everything for close range DPS.

the bad: Can't fill many roles, not versatile

Tengu (Caldari)

the good: Good mission and site runner for solo play, jack of all trades

the bad: Not got a great shield, heavy missiles are quite poor since the nerf, average DPS, doesn't really master anything

What do people like to use in Wormhole PvP? Wormhole Site Running?

Here's my take from a PVP point of view (no one cares about PVE).

Legion
The Good: Can be neut fit.
The Bad: Low DPS, overrated range, low tank, bad fitting room, useless cloaky, can't be shield fit, no drones on dps fits.
The Irrelevant: Can get higher scan res than most interceptors.

Summary: If you're flying this ship and you're not neut fit, what are you doing?
Seriously, don't fly this ship.

Loki
The Good: Excellent resists, excellent speed/agility, great damage selection, great webs, viable in shield and armour, viable cloaky, low sig.
The Bad(ish): Low EHP, fitting is tight on armour fits without faction mods, very weak to jamming as ewar sub is always used.
The Irrelevant: Is bad with missiles, not as much DPS as a Proteus.

Summary: The most versatile T3 by a pretty wide margin, gets my vote for best T3 all around.

Proteus
The Good: Epic DPS, great tank, good fitting room, great cloaky, best long range T3 with rails, best cloase range T3 with blasters, useful long point, strong against jamming with ECCM sub.
The Bad: Can't be shield fit, is slow, weak against neuts as cap booster rarely used, only has 1 viable combat sub system layout (apart from electronics which can be point range or ECCM).
The Irrelevant: ZOMG, BLASTERS HAVE NO RANGE BRO!!!

Summary: If you want to shoot stuff, this is the T3 for you. My favorite T3 by far.

Tengu
The Good: Good dps, good range, good tank, good speed, can be 100mn fit, strong against jamming.
The Bad: Bad cap, really bad fitting room, ECM sub is not viable at all on a shield fit.
The Irrelevant: Gets a range bonus for rails.

Summary: All in all it does everything reasonably well, nothing over the top though. It's fine and still the shield T3 of choice but still, meh. Trying to actually fit it out for PVP is a painful process due to it's anemic fitting room. My choice for most overrated T3.

There is no Bob.

First, lemme blow your mind.

And talking to him, it's apparently pretty beastly in solo/micro-gang fights.

Various PvP Prot thoughts
You can stick the deimos fit onto the Prot pretty easily, the grav prop sub drops a low for an extra mid to make it work and is super useful for making the prot a bit more than a one note dps brick. It does have cap issues even under cap injected though. The grav sub also actually works now, it's pretty fast in warp with it.

There's also the tinker setup you see in the tournaments, where you have a BS cap inject an RR prot. Range is an issue but it could do pretty well out in w space. curious if anyone has ever tried.

Great solo covert ops boat. Can scan, pew, survive. Good fun, though it looks terrible...
