What do I need to be able to play at fanfest?
I live in the US and use a MSI GT780DXR as my main gaming platform.
So I have a 120 volt 60hz power adapter, though it does say 240volt capable
I doubt this as it doesnt even have a functioning grounding wire
Also would a Sprint S3 be useful or is it the wrong frequency package?

Check your laptop's power brick for 100-240v and 50-60Hz, most should. Then just go to any electronics store and buy the set of adapter tips for your plug. Wi-Fi is literally everywhere you will go while you are at fanfest.

if you try to hot spot it you will need international coverage, otherwise it will cost you a crap load of money.

When I went in 07, I just had to get an adaptor from best buy for like $30, then you pay for the hotels wifi (might be free now, in 07 they were charging) also when I went there was a workstation setup so you could log in and check skills. Had to use it in the later evening as it was crowded during the day.

You really just need to convertor, and if you insist on using your phone call sprint and check the international rates.

…that said, last time I was at Harpa, they filtered the ports used for EVE so I wasn't able to log in. Finding useful wifi elsewhere was still trivial, though.

You can play Eve anytime.

If you're taking the time for a little vacation overseas, I would focus on staying drunk and trying to screw everything that moves. Twisted

You need a large bottle of Jaegermeister with lots of papercups.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Why the hell would you want to play eve at fanfest.

It's like concert etiquette man. Never show up in a t-shirt for the band you are going to see.

If you're not intoxicated enough that you can't type in a password on your laptop, you're doing fanfest wrong.

This is how I play EVE at Fanfest.

I dress up as a Catalyst and bump all the fat guys away from the all-you-can-eat buffet.
