In my opinion the forum mods and community managers have seriously shamed themselves.

Choreographed nonsense of a second-rate Chicom-esque variety.

First, use Ripard to inspire a no-holds barred hate-fest against Erotica 1 for 3 days.
Instead of locking the thread and sanctioning Ripard for flagrant abuse of his CSM position, they let the thread rage on and on.
Then - after the EVE Community is sufficiently inflamed and polarized - use the resulting 'shitstorm' as an excuse to justify a ban.

I especially liked how Falcon kept trying to be cryptic - hinting that 'he had his own opinions' on the matter. As if anyone with two braincells to rub together had any doubt what those opinions were.

The ISD do a good job.

Base that assertion not as personal opinion, but on the broadbrush principle that it is easy to be critical absent having to step into the same shoes or commit the free time to doing what they do, as the ISD currently do.

The ISD team and. Falcon.. Are heros of our forums Keeping at least one part of eve Tolerable. Now if only we could release the ISD team Upon the market hubs to clean them up.

I would like to confirm that the ISD CCL team (amongst the other ISD teams) is doing indeed a wonderful service to the EVE Community - a service which is often underestimated or even ridiculed.

And even if you don't like forum moderation, you can believe that without he support of the CCL team the EVE Community team would have less time available and eventually couldn't write weekly summaries, Developer Spotlights or do the New Player Training Sessions.

So, if you see valuable things coming from the EVE Community team, you can also thank the ISD CCL team because they considerably help with their tireless and fantastic work.

That said, if you have any questions regarding forum moderation, please send a support ticket.
