The Naga is awsome to look at, so theres one reason to train it. It's a reason for me to train caldari ;) and as for drones not being a primary weapon you obviously have never see an Ishtar or a neuting Domi at work. Not to mention the Sin used as it's ment to be used.

What you really wanted to say was 'I want to fly the new ship with skills i have already and why can't i have a torpedo launcher of doom 'cause i already have a drake'

Seriously you have the option of the blaster nano naga or the fast moving you cant hit me rail naga, slap on some large shield extenders for tank.

I only have experience of the talos, but mine is a 1088m/s 28000 ehp blaster boat. Seeing the use of the Naga yet?

Caldari used to be latin for "lack of gank". It's about time they got some ganky love!

Amazing to think that even Gallente and Amarr have ships using two different weapon systems.

Megathron has missile hardpoint, as does Enyo and have you ever looked at the Eris?

Amarr have lots of missile ships as well as lasers.

If it was a missile ship you'd be crying it was too similar to a stealth bomber or a Raven or something. Stop crying and use it.

I agree 100%

Naga should have 8 high slot missle or Hybrid with role bonus for both.
And Amarr should have role bonus for large smart bombs.

This is one Minny that loves this post lol.

But hey guys, look on the bright side. Once you've trained for all the Minmatar ships you are close to being able to fly any ship in the game competently.

Caldari has being lacking a proper DPS railboat for a long long time.

Oh, so this..........

Now real Caldari pilots that choose guns and go the Merlin, Moa, ferox, Rokh route get some loving.... Twisted

Missilebears, you got some loving last time with your 110km+, 600DPS Tengus. Move along, nothing to see...... Twisted

OP is a whiner.

Minmatar has several ridiculous ships that need to both missiles and projectiles at the same time.

Gallente have drone ships and some that need to fit drones and blasters both at the same time.

Amarr has laser ships, drone ships and missile ships.

OP is a loser.

If its any consolation, i did fit t2 siege onto the naga on the test server and it was pretty fail compared to the blaster naga.

Just another Caldari ship that takes non-Missle weapons skills.

Has there ever actually been an explanation as to why we need 2x as many weapons skills just to fly all of our own races ships?

Thought it was going to have missles?

naga is much better than rokh because it got dps bonus. this is everything for this kind of ship.

in fact it's very similar to vindicator now but unlike that, it has great range (yes I need it for sniping), great locking range, and enough mid slots for shield tank. although vindicator can be fitted with 90k ehp and 4 MFS, it's too scary to fly because of the price tag...

i don't see what everyone is whining about. my experimental pyfa fit shows 800 dps at 64+30 km. this is better than tengu in most situations since you can refit longer ammo with slightly less dps. and this is instant damage so it's much better.

maybe it can't handle many lvl4s by itself, but it's excellent secondary damage dealer, better than maelstrom imho (unless target npcs are particularly resistant to therm+kin of course).

Once you train minnie support skills to spec you don't have to train any other support skill to fly other races. You have to train every frickin skill to fly minnie ships so please more Naga QQ for good measure throw in another Winmatar thread.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

I've trained all races ships and have only to train energy weapons for amarr out of weapons systems.

That being said I have trained drones AND 2 weapons types for the 3 races I am fully trained in, and will have missiles, drones, and energy weapons for Amarr when completed.

Focusing on one ship is awesome, cross training is awesome. You can't do both at once, it takes time to do them all.

I fly amarr. Do you know how many different skill sets we need to fly our subcap ships?

Missiles.
Drones.
Lasers.

Quit complaining.

FYP. Cool

I should really train projectiles so I can play with the Tornado... maybe I'll add that little side-plan this weekend... hmm...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Damnation (Command, Missiles)

Our best T1 Cruiser, best Inty, only Dictor, only EAF, both Cov Ops Frigs, Best solo HAC, both our Recons and best Fleet Comamnd Ship all require non-Energey Weapon Skills.

And Amarr (generally) gets decent drone bays, so Drones also required (not optional) and are primary weapons for three hulls.

Toss in that the Maller, Navy. Aug and Prophecy all work better in many ways with Autocannons, and thats three more hulls that are really not "energy" focussed in general use. Also, Blood Raider ships (half Amarr, Amarr based Hulls) are all Neut-based Ships as well.

Safe to say that a good Amarr pilot needs a touch more than Energy Turrets to succeed with Amarr hulls.
