You have a weird definition of "Max Boosts". A Mindlink will push the foreman bonus to 15%. A maxed Orca will cut the cycle time to... around 40 seconds.

Managing that with so little cargospace would make me go bonkers within a half-hour. :I

The Apoc used to be the best miner in the game due to being the only ship with 8 turret hardpoints and 7 lows for mining upgrades and CPU mods.

Except that when the Apoc was one of the best miners* there were no mining upgrades.

* The Domi was arguably better if you were willing to run 15 Harvester mining drones because it could still fit other things... like a tank.

OP It doesn't really work man. A properly fit Skiff will

1. Mine faster and than a Rokh, will mine ice too.
2. Have more tank against ganking than a Rokh
3. Hold more Ore than a Rokh
4. Travel faster (in warp, without, aligning) than a Rokh
5. Cost less than a Rokh
6. Require less micro than a Rokh

An addition to the set up, bring a mobile depot to drop the ore into, and a mobile tractor unit to grab cans of ore that you toss out of the depot every time it gets close to being full.

This has the added benefit of giving bored fight club members something to shoot at while they try to get a Limited engagement.

Joking of course, but imagining a line of these ships grinding ore, it's either absurd or hysterical IDK which.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

The trick is to do it in style with a Vindicator. Then at least you have something to brag about when barge better at mining tell you you are doing it wrong.

When BS Mining as well as max Mining Drone Mining was a thing it did not matter.

But yes, your fitting is your standard 2009 Mining BS Setup and yes, there where whole fleets of these things out there, combined with a fleet of Industrials.

Did fly them myself a couple of times.

It became a sporting event to see who could protect their harvesters longest. I remember some miners would pay noobs to kill npc rats in their belt so they wouldn't have to pay any mind lol.

As a joke, we've had mining ops where people brought the most blinged-out battleships (faction, in a few cases) they could dig up.

My main used to mine in a Rokh with a MWD. I think my mining-fit Domi got better yield than the Rokh (I'd have to check EVE HQ to be sure), but I liked the looks of the Rokh better. The Domi reminds me of that little gadget you buy to de-pill sweaters.
