Hi guys,

This is just a timely reminder that I will be there on Saturday but it will only be for an hour from 2pm as I have a later train to catch I'm looking forward to meeting some of the 'local' players for the first time.

P.S. - I've just realised that I won't recognise any of you... I'm around 6 ft 3inc tall, will probably be wearing black trousers and a black anorak with a bit of red on it and will probably be carrying a medium sized blue/grey rucksack. I never did get round to buying an EVE Gallente T-shirt. Long live the Federation... although with the Star Trek implications, I think it is Obi Wan or Yoda who gives the order, "Concentrate your fire on those Federation Starships" - See you Saturday. Big smile

Ok guys, I was there between 2pm and 2.25pm. I was enjoying a pint of Tennents, sitting at the bar wearing my black / red anorak and blue & grey rucksack. I looked around the place a few times and couldn't tell the difference between groups of gamers and normal customers. I hadn't been in there before so didn't realise how big it was. I was sitting at the bar to the left of the Darth Vader helmet with what looked like the Groucho Marx glasses/moustache on it. - I did see the guy with the motorcycle helmet, he order a drink and then disappeared elsewhere. Okay, it's no big deal but it would have been nice to say "hello" to a few of the local players. There was one guy on his own at end of bar messaging away furiously on his smart phone, and then got stuck in to a huge burger, but everyone else looked like "normal" customers. Next time I'll pass on my mobile number to whoever organises the next event. C'est la vie ... C'est la guerre !! Big smile
