What DOES the inside of Capsuleer ships look like?

I know this subject has been brought up a million and one times already, and I'm not even going to start to discuss walking in ships.... I don't think such follows lore and even if lore supported it, I don't think it's high on CCP's list of things to do. So far walking in stations hasn't progressed (for us anyway) beyond Captains Quarters. I can't imagine waiting the next 10 years for walking in ships LOL.

However, they do have crews. I wonder what the inside of the ship looks like in light of that. I also wonder why or if CCP would make some concept art regarding the inside of capsuleer ships. It'd be neat, for example, to see on the bridge and see the capsule in it's place. I always imagine windows to see out of.

I suppose it would be good for immersion. It might make for some pretty good fan fiction also!

Ah cool. I will check it out. Thanks much :)

EDIT: It's nice to see scale and where things are. I'm no artist, else such a picture like the Hurricane Cutaway would be an awesome reference to make something to see how it LOOKS. Alas, maybe we'll just have to do what we've been doing since the very beginning.... Imagine Cool

Do you know what I would like to see in eve? The option to hire a crew. And the crew would affect the ships performance. Let's say the best crew would add 5% to overal ship performance and bad crew -5%. And the option to train a crew on planets or stations. Some kind of new business for capsuleers

Could be useful. But in PvP, you're GOING to lose ships. But crew corpses floating about would be funny!

I was looking at mine and was wondering if every book had the same picture. Mine is an Algos destoyer. The living space seems quite small in comparison to the ship itself.

Which makes you wonder what the other races look like. For example I imagine the Caldari ships would have even smaller quarters but possibly room for more crew, given the Gallente rely on so much automation.

Theres ample space in the Algos but I imagined it a bit differently, is all.

I wish I got an Amarr or Minmatar cutaway personally, but perhaps we'll see a collection later.

Some capsuleer ships are modified ships that are used by casual pilots, the pod itself can take over the entire ship, still requiring some crew but significantly less than a ship without pod pilot.

The pod housing is actually really small which is something that surprised me.

Modern military vessels have small rooms and narrow corridors. While our ships in EVE are considerably larger, the extra components needed to maintain survivability in space would probably take up all that extra space.

The pod only needs to be big enough to house one human and the related support systems, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that it's very small.

But it's also connected to all the ships systems which I'd think would require some space to do, and I'd assume there would be a protective casing of armor or something to reduce risk of instant destruction of the pod upon catastrophic ship failure.

So what your saying is that next time a corp member gets out of line they can be conveyed to the 425mm and launched into space?

Excellent!
