Any channels to co-ordinate market manipulation and profit? Used to be in one about 6 years ago before I quit Eve.

Who... have mutual trust and are very secretive. Also very wealthy; both in manpower and isk - the 3rd component needed to manipulate most markets.

Just used to increase the price of various T2 items... was never part of one of the major tritanitum price hikes.. personally i didn't have enough isk to get involved.

For the life of me I cannot remember what the channel was called :(

EDIT: We might as well start a new channel?

You also need control of the supply of the item that you are manipulating (restrict the supply). Simply buying up a lot of it won't help, because people with control of the supply can just dump it onto the market en masse.

However if you buy the item hoping a change in game mechanics would restrict supply or increase demand, then that's speculation rather than market manipulation.
