L4 pirate differences

Hi,

i found myself a comfy 0.5 system, with a comfy l4 security agent giving mostly serpentis missions with a comfy corp where i can sell the lp for a good price.

I guess my question is, since i seem to be meeting only a few pople in the system, am i doing something wrong?

Should i be running missions against serpentis and mordu, or do for example angel / blood raiders give significantly more rewards?

Are there differences between pirates outside the angel having a secret room and the serpentis not in the extravaganza as far as loot/bounty go ?

Serpentis and Guristas have the most annoying ewar in game but else it depends more on the missions u get. And i havent seen a difference in lp and isk output between compareable missions and compareable agents.

Ewar as mentioned (Sansha has Tracking Disruption, Blood has Neuts), different salvage and Damage Types for tank and what they do.

Drones and Gurista salvage is horrible. That aside, all factions are as rewarding to fight in terms of L4s. The ewar was mentioned by someone else.

The big thing I believe is that if there's only 1 agent in your system, people with Marauders/pirate/faction BS will not be there (for the most part) because they can spam missions really fast, and a single agent might offer more than 1 poor mission in a row, which would mean standing losses due to multiple declines in a 4h window.

the big question here is do you want to run missions normaly or do you want to blitz those
if option A your fine with a nice coozy 0.5 system that has just 1 agent
if option B get the hell out of there since you want to have a plentyfora of agents to pick just the juicy missions
and about the loot serps have a so so loot its mostly mission dependant ( the more bs and elite ships the better )

As a pretty experienced mission runner, I can help you with this. It all depends on what the mission is, of course. But also your play style. It also depends on your ship! Nightmares and Macherials would be great for Blood Raider and Sansha missions, while a Vindicator or a Tengu would be great for Gurista's and Serpentis. Keep in mind the Macherial applies very well across the board. If you're blitzing, Serpentis and Gurista's would be preferable to other factions. Mercenaries tend to have the best loot, followed by Angels, Serpentis, Guristas, and Sansha. Don't forget about the occasional Gone Berserk as well, that's a great mission to loot and clear. Overall, I recommend you blitz missions in a Tengu if you're fighting Gurista's and/or Serpentis, a Macherial or Vindicator for everything else. Blitzing is only useful if you can do lots of DPS quickly and get in and out fairly rapidly, or you won't be making more than if you salvaged. If you can't blitz 4 or more missions an hour, salvage. Cool

Mission payouts are dependent on skills and the systems security rating. A .5 system will pay out more than a 1.0 system. Social to 5, Security Connections to 5, and Negotiation to 5 will give you max payouts for the system you are running security missions out of.

Example: Let's say Gone Beserk pays out 850k ISK, 3000LP when running it in a 1.0 system with max social skills. In a .5 system you will see a significant increase. Instead of the payout above, you will now see about a 1mil isk payout and 4500LP payout. The bonus reward also increases.

Note: Numbers above are not actual figures. Just showing how there will be a difference.

Dont forget to mention caps.

Anyways, i just wanted to know if there is a significant difference in payouts (of all kind) between pirate factions, i already am missioning in a 0.5 system for the reasons you mention, but thanks :)
