3 weeks no ore in wh c4

Ore sites did not spawned for 3 weeks at least.

All c3 and c4 that are connected always contains ore site.

Did it broken and need to be petitioned?

And that just with all the posting here that noone mines anymore in whs.

I hope you have taken this 3 weeks to find other things to do.

But more seriously maybe it is due to most people that mine in WH space no longer doing it since becoming fish in a barrel and Ore sigs no longer de and respawning.

Sites that are repeatedly farmed from a system don't necessarily respawn in any consistent time frame.

Solution: Don't count on ore sites in your home system for mining income, mine in your static connection(s) instead. More dangerous, but more profitable.

my favourite was when somebody killed a random mackinaw in our wh 10 minutes after we deployed our fleet into another hole for pvp, we didnt notice during combat and only saw its wreck when back home :D

Mining in wh ? forget about it you will get farmed before any t2 exhumer repaid itself

mining in c4 space is pretty safe, just watch the static.

c4 is at the moment the safest place, yes this might be true. but how comes ? becuase of a very low amount of pvp corps in wormholes with a c4 static, if that changes ( maybe my corp should ? :P ) you'll have the same issues

Here is a tip if you want the Ore sites to have a better chance at spawning in your Home system.

Every time you roll into another WH and see an Ore site, just initiate warp to them all. That way it will start the 3 day timer on them and despawn. Thus having a chance that the respawn will happen in your Home system. Or at the least keep them moving and respawning other places.

I do it for all sites when I find a hole that is occupied that connects to mine and I can't run them. Twisted

But with what the above poster said, open sites in the static's you jump into. Once they despawn, you'll have a greater chance of an ore site.

Go rage rolling activating every site you see in c4's for a few hours, you'll get some spawns going.

There was a stealth wh mining nerf in the last patch. Fozzie rolled out his "Ore Monger" deployable module (sisters of eve loyalty points are the only way to get them). You put it out and an ore site spawns 5000m from it for 24 hours. They are going crazy in null with them. Every station undock is littered with ore sites. There is a threadnaught in the missions and complexes forum about it.

The thought is that they have exceeded some server limit on total ore sites in the game and the normal random ore spawns are just not happening. The devs are looking into it.

At least you dont have ore to tempt you into mining. I was semi afk mining today, I noticed a new sig. Discovered it was another wh & those bastards apparently wanted to steal my jet cans. Even tried to take it with an orca. I popped the cans out of furiousity and learned a valuable lesson; always fit 2 scrams.

I don't think it's ever been proven that cycling sites elsewhere in the wormhole constellation causes them to respawn elsewhere in that constellation. Not that it's one of those things you could realistically ever prove either way.
