EACS - Jump Clones; Corp Update; Alliance Creation!!!

Thanks very much for providing this service.

A word of warning to those in hi-sec, though: a small number of corps have declared war against this service, presumably to rack up easily kills on unsuspecting PvEers with no repercussions. I was ganked by 3 little men outside the main Jita IV trading station literally 1 minute after becoming a corp member. They were all members of the Marmite Collective, and presumably just lying in wait to catch those undocking. Once I'd respawned back in Orvolle I made my way back to Jita and came across 1 other group of gate campers from one of the waring factions in hi-sec, also looking to gank. Fortunately I was in a shuttle, so they didn't have time to get their act together.

Moral of the story: once you become a corp member focus on nothing more than setting up jump clones. And travel in a fast and cheap shuttle to do it, even in hi-sec. Unless you enjoy ganks by tryhard PvPers in hi-sec. :)

Actually I suspect that they were paid for the wardec due to some of the services we have offered for free that others have used as a business model, of course many have become easy targets so it might have progressed into someone that is now profitable with out being paid too.

We have messages in the MOTD, welcome mail and corp, character bio and even now on our forum bumps, indicating that we have active wardec's and people should get jump clones and then drop from corp so they are not effected by the wardec for an extended period of time.

Over all majority of ganks are of very low value, but some big ones have been caught, but we still have +-50 applications per day this year so still as popular as ever. Smile

We accept apps at least twice per day, once around 6am EVE time and then in the evening between 6pm-10pm EVE time generally I will check a couple times, this is also when we generally also sort out all the others services we offer.
