How, if at all, do you smack talk wartargets that don't undock

I like to sing to them in local. There's this one guy I'm camping at the moment from a corp called Touch Me There, so I wrote a song just for them.

Touch Me There, can't you see, that I am not afraid

what was that promise that you made?

and where the ****'s my lemonade?

I dont.

I find smack demeans me if I use it without cause.

The best way to unnerve your WT is to sit in system, preferrably outside the station and stare at them silently.

After two or three days they usually crack, one way or another.

PS if WiS was a thing, I would be staring at them with this expression

Going with above. In many cases, smacktalk only generates amusement for the target, as he believes he annoys you with his behaviour/ (in)actions (some ofc do get riled up by smacktalk, but seems a minority to me, and even then, how many 'fake' a smacktalk rage to get more response from you?)

Being silent, hanging near undock makes them all the more nerveous as they don't know if you are there on the keyboard or not (smacktalk on the other hand does show pauses when you are away for a time). Being silent also gives the impression of being fully focused on blowing him out the sky the moment he undocks.

Remember, part of EvE warfare is psychology, you can be afk and hanging at undock silently, the target does not now, if you have always been silent, he has to assume you are there, ready to pull the trigger.

Hehe, yeah.... actually, I would totally go for WIS if I could follow wts around in station while they're docked up and raid their CQs and steal their pet Fedos and stuff.

Nah, I'm not really trying to unnerve him, or even get him to undock, I've really got no stake in blowing him up other than personal amusement, I was just bored and he wasn't gonna undock anyway. These guys are quite cute, they decced us for an offline POS tower we had in highsec but they're not interested in fighting.

Oh that would iritate me somewhat (the not fighting and only using the Dec as an excuse to get a free moon).

Just out of sheer curiosity, if they had offered to buy it from you, would you have sold it to them?

Of course. We were taking the tower down anyway, hence why it was offline. P

Best way is to stay docked and smack !

I am well known about that.

I never smacktalk.

I always remain calm, polite and 'helpful'. I find that most targets who you're at war with or you have just blown up, cannot stand someone being nice to them. This only serves to make them rage more, all the while i collect the tears and sometimes even get to report them for swearing in local, which only causes more rage.

Just for being nice.

Nah, I'm not afraid of a fight. I'm more well known for that. If these guys want a fight, I'm more than happy to oblige, win or lose.

You don't...

You magically appear when they are unlocked and doing something.

On the other hand... if an excessive number of target come for you... stay online and go watch a movie. Come back after a few hours, Copy local chat and save it for your reading amusement. And then go pick off stragglers.

The only war targets we ever have are the Marmites.

We never see them, so smack talk isn't something I get into.

Marmites only hang out in Amarr/Jita where the local is spammed so hard that any smack talking wouldn't be noticed anyway. :/
They where the most boring wartargets my old highsec corp ever had. (We lost more ships from suicide gankers than from WTs during that period)

Now, when CCP introduces destructible outposts, there will be many good lines of banter going backwards and forwards between the two parties .. until the bright light.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Built by CCP

One slight problem

WTs dont usually (ok sometimes they do) hang out in Outposts

They hang out in High Sec stations

Which will be as undestructible as long as High Sec exists

That's what i do. I never smack in local. I think the lack of replying is more effective because they never really know if you are around or not. (Until you pop them!) Lol

I usually have an alt in sys and cloaked off the station waiting for them to undock. I have other ships off the gates in adjacent systems waiting for them to jump into me. Sometimes i get lucky and sometimes they stay in station or just log.

Either way, they usually get pretty angry because their game is being disrupted.

First, do you have your "Smack Talk" skill trained to level 5?

Rather unrelated, but I used to talk to my residents in local when I was an AFK cloaker.

I used to park my bomber a decent ways off the stations, so I could see when they undocked, and say things like "Nice Oracle, is it pulse or beam fit?"

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.
