Planetary Interaction - Save Schematic and Route Setups.

Would anyone else like to see the ability to save your Planetary Interaction setups? I am currently running a multi-planet PI setup that generates P1 items for a P4 production planet. The P4 production planet has 28 facilities on it and it would be a huge time saver if I could just load a pre-saved set up that had all the factory schematics and routes set. On average it takes about 20-30 minutes to set the factories and set the routes up for each production item.

Feedback please.

It is an interesting idea. I think there would be plenty of issues to iron out with it, but I do think it is something that could potentially be helpful. As far as issues, for example, how would you handle the extractors? Would the head locations be saved as well? Would the times for each survey program also be saved? Would link upgrades also be included in the save?

If you were able to save settings, I could see the system working a lot like fitting currently works. You would be able to save a setup for corporate use, or possibly link them to a friend so they can save them for personal use. I think the corporate use idea would be useful for designating people to work on PoS fuel and just giving them a setup to use, for example. The problem there comes when you link a setup that requires higher skills than someone else may have. How would the system handle that?

All in all, though, I think it is an interesting idea. Maybe post thoughts in the forum designed for feature requests and ideas?

Just to save the layout would be enough for me. Or at least give us snap to grid ability when moving pins/structures.
