I know the most popular ganking ships are either Gallente or Minmatar. But what about Caldari ships?

The Moa is usable for it, yes. It has enough midslots to give itself a pretty quick locktime.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

I'm sure you could fit a cormorant as a lower dps catalyst, but its probably easier to just train gallente destroyer 1. The moa is decent though.

Saw a friendly chap link a gank Ibis to deal with Ventures. Think it was blaster fit.

Get on Comms, or die typing.

you can get ok dps with the moa for ganking t1 industrials at gates. not as much dps as the vexor but doesnt need as much skill either.

Well, half of the Caldari ships are missile boats, but blasters are much better for ganks.
And Caldari gun ships usually have range bonuses, while Gallente ships have damage bonuses.
As range should not be an issue when doing ganks, Gallente have an advatage.

The Moa is one of the rare Caldari gun ships with a damage bonus and thus an exception.

Moas are indeed effective at ganking under sentry gun fire.

Other than that, blasters (for DPS) or autocannons (for alpha) simply outperform all Caldari boats.

I'll have to try that. To be continued :)

If only the Cormorant had a damage bonus instead of it's current bonus... It works, but not as well as I'd hoped.

Its funny, because the catalyst actually doesn't have a damage bonus either. They would be equal if the comorant could fit eight guns.

A rocket Corax is better.

And it is.....glorious.

Cool

Channeling Fr. O'Malley from high school. Going to venture a guess it's Gnoses (NO-sees) from Gnosis (NO-sis). Like vertex, vertices.

Why would you want to spend?

Also the Cormorant has one less low slot than the Catalyst in addition to a missing turret, so the gap on damage is considerable and it takes literally minutes to be in one if you can fly the other.
