Hi all,

I'm trying to get the anti-aliasing to work on my late 2013 iMac with Nvidia GT750M (1GB) and it is simply not working.

I have tested 3 different versions of the eve client by now:

1. "native" osx client
2. windows client under windows 7 ultimate using parallels 9
3. windows client in a windows2000 crossover bottle

Depending on the system and vm settings i get different choices for the anti-aliasing options in the eve client - ranging from "disabled only" to a full selection list including "high" setting.

But whatever i choose and apply, i can see no difference at all. No drop in framerate and no improvement in visual quality.

So, is this some kind of bug with the actual eve client? Am i missing anything?
Could any Mac user please confirm if this switch currently has any effect for them?

Thanks for any hints in advance.
Kind Regards,
Beren

Edit 04.04.2014:

Today i installed a 4th (in words fourth !) eve client on my system - this time using the wine-devel method discussed in the other thread here. Result is exactly the same: Settings for Antialiasing are available but changing them has absolutely no effect.
The same goes for the "HDR" switch btw.
I even tried a bunch of configuration options using winetricks (multisampling=enabled) but that didn't help either.

Is Antialiasing simply not possible on the Mac? Does anyone have it working?

Hey man, I am thinking about getting a new iMac, similar to yours but I am worried about EVE heating it up when running two or more clients.

Have you had any heat problems with that machine while running eve? Do you have any software monitoring it?

Sorry can't help with the alias problem.
