Will check out the cap changes on my Nestor after the patch, it is kind of embarrassing that you can't even use large RR on it in a fitting that is useful enough to make it a option over a normal armor logi.

The Nestor still needs 10 lockable target slots, similar to other logis to free up another high slot, that it currently has to use for a auto targeting device. It could use a bit more scan resolution than you put on it today in my opinion, but I welcome the change in that direction.

Why is this not wallpaper sized? -_-*

Look now that would be an *instant* buy if it was an A2-A1 poster in the EVE shop.
Make it so.

I'll answer the bit that I've looked at:

Will drone assist be fixed so it works properly in Lowsec with Crimewatch? Currently my assisted drones never attack when the "drone bunny" fires. I know others have mentioned problems, and I've submitted bug reports for this

Assigned drones should not take an action on their own that would get their owner in to a new limited engagement or incur a suspect/criminal flag. Their owner must explicitly instruct them to perform such an action.

Simply put, Drone assist is not meant to work in lowsec pvp.

(Assigning your drones, is or at least should be the same as engaging a target yourself. The permission for the drones to engage is implied when you assign them.)

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

Even with safety's off?? Isn't that what that function is for?

Love the philosophy on Amarr plate changes. Best balancing idea ever! :)

Regarding the chips to get SOE ship BPCs where would the 'sentient' NPC drones be located?

Great News Big smile

... just, I don't like black, grey, maroon and all the other camouflage colors. I would have loved to paint my ship in red with white emblem or blue with yellow or whatever ... simply chromatic colors.

I do not want to buy black for my Abddon just so that you know people have interest and invest money for it Ugh

CCP Rise, when are you going to fix rapid launchers? This is your blog update, so are you going to respond or just continue to ignore the issue in the hopes we all go away?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

As a wormholer, the Nestor still isn't desirable to me. I just made a fit on EFT and although it has great rep power the down sides make me question a) should i just use a guardian/basilisk with great rep range and sig tank ability and b) if i'm going to use a BS in wormhole pvp, would a bhaalgorn/ vindicator be more useful.

Nice effort but i wish the ship was designed by someone with the balls to put a cloak on it.

With regards to the drone assist change, if i were running the show at CCP, i would make it so only one sub cap could assign drones to me but a max of 50 carriers could assign their drones to me.

What is the point of giving BS low scan res for balancing reasons, if a ship like the dominix can give all its dps to a insta-locking friend?

One another note, the d-scan change is nice!

I don't think the Nestor is desirable to most non-wormholers, either.

" This means that Amarrian ships are not nearly as encumbered by the addition of extra heavy armor plating systems. In practice after these changes, players will notice that the Punisher, Inquisitor, Augoror, Omen and Maller all receive smaller penalties to their mobility from the addition of armor plates than they did before."

Punisher
4xlow slots + 4% armor resistances per lvl + "receive smaller penalties to their mobility from the addition of armor plates than they did before" = WTH+WTF+OMG+LOL

Inquisitor
4xlow slots

Augoror
5xlow slots

Omen
6xLow slots

the best one:
Maller
6xLow slots + 4% armor resistances per lvl + "receive smaller penalties to their mobility from the addition of armor plates than they did before" = WTH+WTF+OMG+LOL

and from now that will be heaviest armor tanked ships with smaller speed penalty from armor plating.
Have to ask one question... ARE YOU ALL AMARRS?

If you compare this ships to other race ships eg. Minmatar, find a balance, I can not see it.
