If u are using google chrome it doesnt work. Use internet explorer or another browser

If you are still having problems with EVE-files you can just use mediafire instead.

Almost out of time... And still only my noob fights. Just finding a fight that is not a total floor wipe is hard. I mean 4 tengus wanted to fight.... but yea can't see a ruppy even getting all that many shoots off let alone even threatening anything.

I think the magic sauce that Aldap and co are leaving out is where do you find these fights? So far FW space has been best, but they are never really alone and are always using links.

Anyway, looking forward to the result.

Sometimes you get lucky if you pretend to be just some carebear trying to farm tags in a LowSec-belt, if FW-central gets to boring. On dotlan you can see the systems with the highest activity, or you just take a LowSec-system which is a choking point between different strings of HighSec-systems.

The rest is experience, sooner or later you notice which ships you can and which you can't fight with your current fit at a glance, then you just warp out when you see them on D-Scan. Or prep your modules if you decide you can take them.

I got a decent string of fights today, unfortunately I won't be able to upload until the 27th (eve date) and kept cutting off the recording when I thought the fight was over, only to have them chase me and start it back up, so I'll either have to merge the videos into one or upload several files and let you guys do it. Will an upload on the 27th be ok? Would you rather assemble the recordings into one or shall I?

The fight and the submission has to happen before the deadline. If the footage part of the submission is a day or two delayed, that's probably fine, we won't be able to review them all instantly anyway.

I'd guess that several files wouldn't be a problem, but if you merge them, could you also give the exact timestamps of the split points, aka the length of the original segments?

I suppose then the question becomes, "Is the deadline for the timestamp on the submission mail the start of, downtime on, or end of the 27th?"

The end of the 27th, by Eve/UTC, seems to be the most reasonable final time to choose. I could be wrong, but I don't know why a few hours more past the downtime until the midnight would cause any issue. But mail asap if you think your full submission would not be done in time, declare your fight details as requested, the upload of the video footage would have some leeway.

Didn't have as much time as I would have liked to try and get a few solo fights in and sooo many frigate gangs can make it hard to find a decent fight especially in a rail Brutix. Tried to fight a SFI and Vexor navy in it tonight but they weren't havin' it and two systems later got jumped by a 4 man frig gang when i jumped a gate. Burned for the gate because of their griffin but when he failed his first jam cycle I counterattacked, got kills on the griffin, comet and rifter before: socket closed............. Lucky for me the firetail took the opportunity to reconsider his position and must have left because i was in a panic warp spot when i logged back in.

A fight that stops moving then ends with stuff still happening makes for ****** footage.

Oh well, good luck to all those who entered but this has inspired me to try and make my own video.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

THE END IS NEAR!

Honestly guys, had some decent submissions so far, for all those holding back their submissions till now, get them in and get them going we'd love to see them!

Even if this isn't the best PvP video ever, I hope that this project has inspired people to keep soloing, it certainly gave me the buzz that I had forgotten about the last couple years.

Mail sent last night, last 2 of the uploads are running now and will be done soon*, but I won't be able to send links for about 10 hours due to work. It was a fun few fights looking for something worth submitting, I'll have to remember to carry pvp fittings in a depot more often.

*if the server stops interrupting my uploads...

Just to clarify things. If you have submitted your fight recently, but haven't recieved a confirmation email then it is because we haven't processed it yet. So don't worry.

If you still haven't recieved an confirmation email at the end of next week there might have been something wrong and we will of cause allow you to resubmit if there has been problems. Just make sure to talk with me first.
