I'm excited to see you so emotional, Dryanna!

Hold on to this feeling. And wait until we together raided the bars of Amamake. It's the emotion that makes us human, not the cold sinister calculation of intellect. I love it! It's a good start. The boys will love you. Keep this Anabella thing in mind. The feeling you just have. The urge to kill. The urge to fight. Primeval!

Maybe after men I show you how to embrace Autocannons. They make even better love.

I prefer missiles.

Which is a good thing. Missiles are okay. They are long. They are big. You grease them before you insert them into the launcher tubes. I love stealth bombers. Small tiny red ships with big long greasy torpedos that put out awesome.

But there's no thing like the feeling of 1400mm greasy artillery Nuclear shells inserted into your firing chamber, the shaking that is going through your ship, through your stomach when it explodes and glides out of the barrel, just to open itself for to reinsert a new one by the recoil of your body.

The recoil is the thing you can feel. When the belly of your ship aches and bents and your hull bends in an out and the urge to insert a new cartridge in the hot chamber and repeat the process all over.

You can't do that with lasers. You can't feel that with missiles.

Missiles are nice. I don't say anything against missiles. But this… girl, we are our ships! You have to know what I mean, don't you?

I don't know what interface firmware you're using, but I'm glad I'm not using it.

I... Maybe I should switch to lasers...

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I am rather curious as to your experiences with the energy/ballistic "hybrid" weapons - namely, particle blasters & railguns - with regard to the sensations you receive from loading and firing them.

I find myself oddly enthralled with this thread now.

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.
