So I've been with the corp a very long time, almost as long as I've been playing eve, and I gotta say I've had some great memories both in game and out.

My most favorite, by far, is while I was deployed in Afghanistan. So this was back in 2011 and I had plans to try and go to fanfest, when low and behold my country asked for me and I gave. I flew out for the Northern provinces of Afghanistan in march of 2011, no fanfest to be had and no eve to be seen for months. I was and still am very good friends with our CEO, Argus Sorn, and had been asked to give my mailing address for a potential care package. So first let me say this, a guy I had never physically met before in my life was going to go out of his way and send me a care package just because I played a video game with him over a couple of years. Now I didn't know what to expect, but when I got my box I couldn't believe what all was in it:

-1 Thermal mug with a minmatar print on it that revealed itself when hot fluid was put into it
-4 Eve related T-Shirts, three from CCP themselves and 1 that was the T-Shirts that Argus had made for every corp member that went to fanfest (thats right we have corp gear too :D)
-3 Pins from fanfest and the special bag they were handing out
- 1 special edition copy of the game
-1 note

So here's how it went down: Arg and another corp mate went to get me a T-shirt that was exclusive to fanfest so that I could feel like I was there, and when the devs they asked about it said they couldn't, Argus told them I was deployed to Afghanistan and really wanted to be there. The two Devs, which happen to of written me the thank you note that I found in my box, showered him with free gear to give me. Now, Argus could of kept the bulk of it for himself, but our CEO is one of the most honorable and caring people I know. He hooked me up, a guy he had never truly met but still calls me his friend to this day. I can tell you while I was deployed he was one of three people who sent me things besides my mother and father, of which one was just a random kid who sent me a very sweet note and the other was another good friend of mine. Of all the people I know in my life, Argus Sorn cared enough about me to send me something special. As a soldier and a man, I can honestly say I cried the day I got that package out in the desert.

I love Argus and this corp like they are my extended family, and I would love to have you as a new brother and sister with which to share our bad-assery with. Come drop an ap, and maybe you too can share what I've experienced: Friendship on a whole other level.

Salutations,

As far as the Eve world goes I'm fairly new but I'm all in. I was was told about Eve when it first came out but scoffed it off wondering if the squeal was going to be "Adam" . Oh well my loss.

I started out in a small corp with a few of really good guys. Only problem was it was small and we all struggled with recruiting. After joining a few Alliances and watching them blow up I wound up at Fanfest with a friend for his birthday. At this time we were in a really cool and "stable" alliance with this outfit called Star Frontiers whom we were just getting to know.

My friend and I were the only two guys in our corp at Fanfest so when Argus Sorn walked up to us and said "hey guys our alliance just blew up" we both felt a bit empty as it came out of the blue. I guess Argus sensed something because with that big old grin of his he said "don't worry guys we'll figure something out". He then took us in and made us feel like one of the guys. Let me say at several decades old I don't need a babysitter but Eve mentors of the Star Frontiers caliber was a blessing.

Being stubborn, when we got back home from Fanfest our corp piggybacked around to a couple of Alliances with Star Frontiers with the offer to merge always there. Now if it were a lesser man he would have just said Join or get lost but he didn't.

It finally got the the point that I felt I was taking advantage of his good nature and so the next time the offer came to join we moved all our PvP guys into SF. What was even better than that was because he didn't want our indy tunes he threw me a bone and created another alliance for my now indy corp so I can pay for the ships I blow up.

I could go on and on about the other very cool peeps in SF like MathewMN, Seliana, Loht, and the list goes on and on. Suffice it to say that as long as Argus and MathewMN are running Star Frontiers I'll have a home in Eve for as long as they'll have me.

Hello all

I don't have much of a story but... really I was just doing incursions for about 2 years and looking for my place in EVE and RED ELS started talking his BS as usual and called me out as a carebear and well he knows me more from FPS games and that is not my style so he recommended I join his corp SF, now here I am. I still have lots to learn about PVP within EVE. I am Happy to be with Star Frontiers

An old bitter vet of the SF family, i have watched this Corp grow from a fledgling corp to a massive power deployed anywhere in EVE at a moments notice. The logistics in SF are second to none. Even though i have had issues with RL and computer glitch that makes EVE crash my system (we are still working on why this happens), i have marveled at how Argus, imo, the best CEO ever to grace the game has kept it growing, learning, adapting, profiting and making it fun at the same time. I may not be there atm, but trust me when i say there is a reason why i have never left this corp once i joined it, there is no comparison, SF is EVE at its finest.
As you read some of the testimony's here, look past that at the passion and friendship that has bonded these people together, because you don't see that much in EVE, its a rare item, and after all these years, it has gotten stronger and larger than i could have ever imagined. Sf isn't just a Corp in EVE, its a family that helps you learn, grow, guides you, and makes it fun to be a part of EVE..
Hope to see you out there in the Sandbox of EVE, Fly safe and take a chance, you might just be glad you did...

Hey Forum goers,

I have been around these forums lurking and reading random stuff for years, I dont post much cause frankly I dont normally have much to add.

I decided to post today Because it occurs to me some of you looking thru here might actually sincerely be looking for somewhere to go where you can enjoy this game and not have to deal with the normal B.S. associated with EVE.

I have been involved with quite a few different groups in eve Some with strict rules that make the game tedious and not worth playing, some that want You to practically give up your real life to secure them 0.0 space so they can be space rich and some who just sit on their comms chatting while never undocking or only undocking to rat.

I am here to tell You Star Frontiers is none of those. Now I wont say all of my other corps have been horrible I have met friends along the way who have become what I would consider real and wouldnt trade that for anything but at the same time I telll you this, When I found -SF- I didnt just find a corp. I found My Eve Home. it starts from the Top and runs right down to the bottom of the command chain here, These Guys are Freaking awesome, Its not only the epic FC'ng, the Great fleets that are going out at all times or The wonderful content created .. its the fact that these dude are real... good friends and always around to help either with escorts ( <--- that doesnt mean hookers, lol) or just plain here to shoot the s**t with you.

Were not looking for just good pilots, If your a good pilot and a douche You might not last ( or u might im a bit of a douche myself) Were looking for dude who wanna be here and want to make a difference, Help Us Build on the strong foundation we have set, were a family We fight for eachother and run from nobody in space, WE are primarily a Pvp Corp. but we do Make it easy For our pilots to make isk and keep eachother flying the fancy crap.

So I write this not for the guy sitting there skimming thru looking for the next elitest place to go and w**re on kill mails to make his personal KB look fantastic, Im writing this for the guy/girl (pls women... Join us WE need more women.. lol) out there looking for a group where they can join , Be themselves, make friends and do epic stuff ...

If Your looking for a Home... Somewhere to grow. It doesnt matter how skilled or Unskilled You are, Cap Pilot or Frig Pilot... We do it all and If your serious about it theres definitely an Eve Family Waiting for you here.

Given that the game is now approaching almost 9 years in age, you have to hand it to Star Frontier [-S-F-] for keeping EVE so interesting. Star Frontier [-S-F-] is about going your own way, in your own time, for your own reasons.

Starting out with a tiny ship and without a single credit to my name, it was an honor to join Star Frontier [-S-F-] and lead me to the my height. Star Frontier [-S-F-] is a corporation in which you can run quests in the morning, build a spacecraft for lunch, and pretend to be an inter-galactic Gordon Gecko for the afternoon.

Thank you Star Frontier [-S-F-]

Hello Future Star Frontiers Bros,

First of all let me state that Star Frontiers is awesome, I Jumped around from a bunch of different corps looking for that perfect fit, from a fledgling mining corporation that had PVP undertones, to a Drug manufacturing corporation, i even tried a Mercenary corporation, non of them seem to fit, there just seemed to be a little something missing, but something that i felt was very important. Finally I found Star Frontiers, and with it i found a family of easy going, caring individuals.

Eve is tough universe, you don't normally find people who normally ask you how your day was going, or if your having a issue with something, someone jumps to the front to see how they can help you get it resolved, anyway on to my story.

One of the fellow corp mates mentioned the logistics service that Star Frontiers provides ( free of charge mind you ), Now in the amount of time i have been apart of this Brotherhood of Badassery we have only had 1 gank of a freighter, unluckily for me it was mostly my stuff, about 4 bil of ships, materials, and mods. Now keep in mind i wasn't happy about the loss but it was about the 1000th time ive used the logistics service and i came to the conclusion that hey just gonna have to chalk it up to a loss, that's just how the game is. A day later Argus Sorn our fearless leader sent out a corp mail stating that anyone who lost anything on the Freighter should make up a list of what was lost, or an approximation, and how big the courier package was, and he would (out of his ISK) pay back a portion of what was lost, i think he estimated about 50-70%. And i thought to myself that's cool he doesn't have to do that. So i wrote up my email, talked to him a bit about it. 4 days later my wallet is blinking, I look in it and see a fat balance that clearly replaces everything i lost, and it has a little note attached to it, that says, put this towards a jump freighter. Although i didn't put it towards a jump freighter, it is amazing that a CEO would even do this, ganks happen, stuff is lost, people should move on and be done with it, but not Argus, he payed everyone back for free courier contracts that someone else lost.

Maybe this is'nt such a good story but its a testament to just how much the Corp leadership cares about its members, and is willing to make excel spreadsheets, and poor over data for hours just to make sure that everyone got there money back. Come and join star frontiers, be in a Badass Corporation, that feels like a brotherhood. I can tell you that i will never leave and have found my home in the roughshod, harsh galaxy, finally with people that i feel will make a difference and continue to keep the game fun and awesome.

My EVE story, so far……..

My time in Eve started way back in 2007 after a real life friend introduced me to this weird and wonderful game full of spaceships. I really did not think I would enjoy or stick with it, but here I am 7 years later exactly on 31/03/14
I started off in high-sec carebear corps The Rangers Rogue traders inc where I lived for some time shooting at red crosses, thinking I was actually making a difference on battleship/cruiser corp missions while in a dessie, how wrong I was! This started to get very repetitive after many, many months even in a couple of other corps, also constant war decing back then so annoying. We dabbled in ratting in wormholes in fleets.
Top tips for wormhole ratting:
1, Make sure you bookmark the wormhole exit.
2, Make sure you have scanner probes.
3, Don’t drink Vodka to excess and fall asleep with your laptop sat on your lap while in a wormhole fleet and not carrying out steps 1 and 2!
2 weeks later a fellow corp mate while scanning found the wormhole I had been stuck in with my drake and no missiles.
Many of the corp members decided to go their separate ways, I built up a very good relationship the CEO of a Merc corp that had war dec’ed us. So eventually I left and became a merc….. Grrrr! I had to train new things and learn the art of PVP, yes, I know I have not learnt much after all this time.
After 3 years of being in game I finally made it out to 0.0 as part of Reaction Theory - Talos Coalition, running round fountain, chasing or being chased by big Test blobs. This was a sad time in the game for me, I finally meet Kilyun (one of my bosses in RL), It was bad enough having to put up with him at work, now he was trying to boss me around in the game! It was during this time I trained one of the best skills which has paid off since the last expansion ‘Interceptors V’. It was Sept 2010 that I first came into contact with the mighty ‘Star Frontiers’ and some of the old characters like F0j4r, I can always remember him saying “Jump through the gate and shoot him in the face” for every fleet he ran. I split up from my Bunny Boiler of a wife around this time which meant I had lots of free time to smash Eve, I used to finish work early on a Friday afternoon and play eve till Sunday morning, sleep is for the weak!
I have stayed sub-cap until 6months ago when I trained and bought an Archon, I have never had the chance to use it in pvp yet, but I can move myself now, we are the Nomads after all. I normally fly around in Frigs T1 or T2 and I think I have probably done more scouting in fleets than anyone else in the corp. http://starfrontiers.eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=197483&m=5&y=2011&view=kills http://starfrontiers.eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=197483&m=9&y=2011&view=kills
http://starfrontiers.eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=197483&m=10&y=2011&view=kills
These were definitely some of my better months in S.F
I have another character in S.F as well E11E only a youngish toon, I been training leadership skills with him and has often been used as a fleet booster for some of ratting fleets. This character was working very well in FW and I did a fair bit of FCing as well.
http://starfrontiers.eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=862020&m=1&y=2014&view=kills
RammyRE is currently training for Black ops, E11E has already trained covert cynos. Since leaving the British Army at the end of 2012 after 24 years, I have had to re-adjust to normal life and I have just secured a job which is normal working hours, so I intend to start playing a more active role.
Hope to see you more in fleets,

Rammy

How my crew and I joined Star Frontiers.

My friends and I where looking for a good corp to join after years of wading in the kiddie pool of hi-sec. Things had gotten stale and we where mostly playing other games and we wanted to see some real EVE action. So we put ourselves out there on the forum meat market to see who would take a bunch of nub PvPers and show us how to throat-punch people. We had the SP, we just needed the opportunity to use it.

Surprisingly, we had many people approach us. No less then 20 corps where eve mailing me daily. It was my job to feel them out and see who where scammers or just plain douchebags and who would be fun to fly with. This seemed to go hand in hand with my other EVE rejuvenation project which was a PvP game/tournament to be held on the singularity server. When we came up short for teams to play I made the very last minute decision to invite the potential corps we where considering joining. This was by no means the "plan" for determining who to join but it turned out to be very informative.

Several corps made the extreme effort to respond last minute to the invitation (if some of you are reading this, thanks again for making the effort) and it resulted in us having full teams. SF was one of them. What resulted was a lot of explosions and ship wreckage and fun had by all. SF of course carried the day with some very inventive ship fits, however that is not what impressed me and my friends. While the other corps where staying on their own coms for most of it and generally focusing on destroying us, SF had an easy nature about them. They used our coms and channels and showed very quickly that they could roll with the punches. They offered advice between rounds, joked around and in general where very friendly. In the tourny however they showed a serious competitive streak and a lot of experience. It is little wonder that they won.

When it came time to decide where our new home was gonna be the vote was pretty much unanimous. So we threw in with Star Frontiers.

What has happened after that has been a whirlwind of more explosions, wreckage and good times:

http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&view=kills&plt_id=797430&m=2&y=2014

Apparently home for SF is where everyone is trying to kill you. If you can't undock into a sea of targets apparently your doing it wrong. Rather than be a paralytic to the corp this seems to be how SF thrives. It's definitely a new experience for me to be able to shoot targets off your front porch whilst sipping lemonade, but that is how SF do.

Here is my favorite fleet action where we had a good fight in our own system. By no means a huge fight but considering it's like every day this shows you the typical for SF. Basically a gank squad failed in killing Selieania, one of our resident bad-asses and the whole thing escalated into a full on fleet action on both sides. This is one of the few fights that we "lost"; although from our stand point the goals of the fleet where achieved. I tell it from my perspective so you get why I love this corp.

It went like this. We engaged the enemy on station in a bubble and the 2 fleets proceeded to start killing each other. I was in a kite wolf however and was immediately hit with jams, damps and had no less than 3 inties after me. Considering that my overview was all red with target locks I was pretty much dead if they ever managed to get a web on me, so I burned away from all the big guns so that when they finally over took me I wouldn't get insta popped. The adrenaline kick of fighting off three other ships, all faster than you was intense. Lock one, shoot, switch targets, shoot, all while managing speed and transversal. After popping two of them and chasing off the 3rd I woke up to the main fight taking place and coms going nuts. Apparently things had gone a bit south in the main fight and we where forced to bug out. It was not totally unexpected considering what we took into the fight against the numbers they brought but what galled our FC was the enemy Oracle still in the bubble with a sliver of hull left. I was the last guy still on field. "**** it, I'm goin' in". Flying into the mess of red to take that oracle down was a thrill I'll never forget. Getting his expensive pod too was a bonus. Making it out with a burning hull was probably the most intense experience of my EVE career.

To imagine that before joining SF i was timid about low-sec! Now I feel like a lion and I go wherever I want. This is exactly the experience my friends and I where looking for.

Hell, I've been subscribed to this game off an on since February 2009. I was tooling around somewhere in Gallente space, trying to figure out if this silly game would be worth my time. Along came Argus Sorn traveling thru space with his Corp in tow. I have no idea why, but we started talking. 5 years later I'm still with the same Corp and most of the same guys. I may not have been active thru those years because of real-life issues, but I always come back to Star Frontiers. We've always got something going on here. Makes it real damn interesting to be with these guys. Always something going on, something to do or talk about. I'm definately not a wordsmith by any means, but I like flying with these guys.

I really don't have a cool story about joining Star Frontiers, just one slightly lesser moment of glory. I joined SF the first time right after they had taken sov in Catch. While getting all situated one night the folks on comms were trying to find somebody with a Charon and frustration ensued. I spoke up and kindly let those noobs know there was a fire sale contract for a Charon open in the very station they were sitting in. Jokes were had and they returned to the joys of sov structures. Point is, our leaders can be just as dumb as the new guy. Nobody is going to be a **** to you here for doing something stupid. Yeah, you'll be the target of tom foolery, but its all for the fun. After all, we're not elite space goobers.

My favorite -S-F- memory is when Matt had this contact in a Russian corp that would fly around and probe out capitals in WHs...
He contacts Matt with a contact neutral Chimera in space in a WH... We rage-formed Hurricanes and burned towards desti while spamming all our intel-channels for moar DPS.
I remember the Chimera pilot tanked like a pro and begged for us to let him go offered us lot of iskies..
We told him we liked explosions moar and after a loooong time and waiting for moar ammo and moar dps we popped him... sweet carebear tears!

AND EVERY SINGLE TIME WE DUMPSTERED TEST!
