Compression blueprints are quite redundant and annoying to deal with, which is why they are being removed altogether. Players who currently own them will be refunded at market buy price. If belonging to a corporation division at the time of the change, the money will be wired back to the corporation wallet.

What if someone has done research with such a blueprint and spend time and effort.

Ekstra pay for the blueprints ?

I vote let them stay around as collectors items.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

How about selling them before you declare them useless? >:)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I would advise to take screenshots with proof of them and say your characters skill training queue and stats (try to make it as unique as possible so that they cannot argue with you).
Mind you, they might just say screw you but at least you tried.
If they do not respond, go to town and good luck.

Striker out!!

If, as the customer, you do not let the business know that you are not okay with it, they will assume all is well with their product/service.

Oh; so that full set I recently finished researching will soon disappear.

Great.

ME research time that can be "spent" just like bonus SP would be fitting.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.

No, that's a stupid idea that would require CCP create an entire system to not inconvenience you for 5 moments. Instead your blueprints can now be used from anywhere and were researched to 9x10^128 along with anyone else's, so your compression is instant.

It takes 5d 15h in a POS to research PL 24, though all mine are PL 12 because the size of the Rorqual's carghold limits the max number of runs possible.

You can do 10 at a time, or more if you have alts. Available PL slots in NPC stations are very common.

Or you can just buy complete sets via contracts.

People that research blue prints are a Gnatts **** higher than AFK miners and Career Character sellers when it comes to care about people getting their turn at the 'pointy end of the nerf bat'.

Oh noes, my time .. woe is me.

Lucky you're even getting market value back. Should just leave em in your hanger like Anaconda Mines.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

In the past CCP has said they will not refund the extra, because you got value out of the research effort you put in. To be fair they would have to deduct all the value you got by using researched BPs from the refunded amount. That would just make a mess, so both the research and the value you got from that research will be ignored.
