Patch failed and repair.exe fails to start (error R6034)

Well it finally happened. The update failed and the repair.exe no longer runs.

I get the error

Runtime Error:
Program C:\users\user\temp\nso12c.tmp\repair.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

when I try to run the repair.exe

I also tried to download the repair.exe from eve site again and it still gives this error.

Anyone know how I can proceed?

For me patch failed somewhere in the end of installation but the game is still playable. I guess the error is somewhere in registering the game and setting up shortcuts.

Open your eyes. And awaken.

Just downloaded the full game again and re-installed.

It still failed to install cleanly, and the repair.exe failed to start.

But the game now starts at least.
