Signatures ID resetting after downtime.

Hi everyone,
I would like to create a petition (not a support ticket) about signatures IDs that are resetting after downtime. Probing is a very time consuming activity that all the wormholers have to deal with everyday. I find it very painful when I have to re-probe all the systems to see if something new appeared.

I would like to gather your comments and then send this discussion to CCP so they think about changing it. With all the things that are changing in the EVE universe, for null players, mission runners and miners I think it would be the time to help the wormholers in their quality of gameplay, because having to re-probe all the things just because it happened a downtime is not cool at all.

I hope I will get much support from the wormholers, as they should appreciate the sigs ID staying the same.

Have a nice day,

Kel

I agree. Its not a big change, and I don't see any detriment resulting from it as weighed against many positive improvements.

Promotes consistency, immersion and the signatures haven't actually moved or changed in anyway since DT, so I don't see any reason why their ID should change.

Is this a troll? Or real tears?

Probing takes minutes, and ID changes effect more then WH space. Granted it would be nice if they didnt change, but its not even a big deal.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

you soft, post-Odyssey scanners.

This has been around for as long as I know. Probably the beginning. It's working as intended. You have no idea what scanning hell is, kid. It's just fine the way it is. If you have that many signatures in your Wspace, DO something about it. Crash the K162s, run the sites. Get down to only your static.

As long as they dont make ship IDs reset after downtime, I am ok with that. If they changed the way ship IDs work, it would make hunting much more difficult.

It didn't take long to locate the tracking beacon, deep inside the quarters for sleepin' They thought they could get away Not today, it's not the way that this kid plays

OP. I recommend two aspirin and a short nap in a darkened room.
Should take about twenty minutes...hey!
How long is down time again?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

+1 For the not resetting IDs after downtime, but -1 for NOT resetting ship IDs i.e. ship IDs should reset.

If ship IDs don't reset, then lets talk about being able to repackage ships without losing the rigs.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Just bookmark them. Let's see if you can figure out how that would help a lot. ;-)

I'm guessing the sig ID changes have to do with their internal process of restoring after downtime because of the pattern of sig IDs.
