Patch failing on missing file: res\audio\602932923.ogg

There have been reports of the patch failing with the error

"File Not Found: res\audio\602932923.ogg"

Here is a workaround for that issue if you have already downloaded the patch and don't wan't the repair tool to download an additional 1.3GB of data

create a shortcut to the repair.exe in your client folder and change the command line to:
"repair.exe --buildno=306979"

run this shortcut, the repair tool should start up and add the missing file along with any others that might be missing or corrupt.

you can then apply the patch as before and it should work this time around.

In the locked thread by GM Harmonioa with the common issues, this fix is listed with an incorrect command. She lists it as --buildno:306979. This throws an error, and luckily I came across this thread to see the correct string with an =.

had that error too

Repair tool fixed it for me and patched my install, but not before failing once due to 'access denied on exefile.exe'.

Had to kill exefile.exe from task manager to get repair tool working properly.

Tried the shortcut fix, but no joy, it still wanted to DL 1.3G. Cry
I ended up using http://content.eveonline.com//321452/evepremiumpatch321452.exe (generic patcher) and it ended up DL only 70meg. All good now. Hope this help others with this problem Big smile
