So, I would like to know what is the current standad date on New Eden, as YC compared to our Date. I mean, does YC still uses months/days/hours/minutes/ and seconds? A YC counts up when it goes past 365 days? Etc...
Some sites says its 115 some says its 116, is it going to be 116/117 next year?

I am starting a blog to be used as capsuleer diary and it would be very important for each post.

The calendar used as months & days and such is the same as in the real world. This means, 22 march ingame matches 22 march in real life. This is mainly done to avoid things getting too complicated in terms of dates.

The year we're at in EvE is YC 116. The transition to the new year is the same as in real life, namely at 1 january. The confusion with YC 115 is probably because 2 major events happened that year (Battle for Caldari Prime & the four nation pirate attack) causing it to be plastered all over internet as 'most recent year'

There's a few local calendars I believe but they're not really used. Think the Amarr one has seen the most development from players.
