I'm having my system completely freeze sometime.

I run Eve on Ubuntu 12.04 with Wine 1.6.1, video card Nvidia GTX 660, driver 331.20 with 2 monitor.

I can reproduce freezes if I run multiple clients with multiple PG undocked. It crush sooner if I use some programs (Browser, 3td party software..) on top of some client.

Just one time it happened with just one client open.

I cannot find any useful log (but I'm not a guru). Some time I have CapsLock and ScrollLock blinking.

Any suggestion?

CapsLock and Scroll Lock blinking - usually kernel crush. I had some troubles, but last month all was ok.
I think that troubles have in Eve 3D. Try install development version of wine .

I have found major problems with splitting monitors in the past on windows and linux. Make sure your clients are only a single screen and not crossing a screen edge.

This sounds like a graphic driver bug, kernel bug, or hardware issue. I'd try:

- Applying updates for your linux distro
- Update your nvidia drivers
- Check that your fans are all working, and you have not blocked air flow
- Run memtester on your system over night. (sudo apt-get install memtest86)

SOLVED.

I upgraded wine from 1.6.1 to 1.7 and now I had no freeze in 2 weeks even with 4 account logged.
