Implant gifts?

So I noticed we all get a core augmentation gift, and we have until the 2nd to redeem it.

I created a new account with the intent of using the buddy program to start a new char, but I hadn't yet actually created a character, or upgraded it (getting my plex to my new alt is somewhat of a pain).

If I upgrade my 2nd account before the 2nd, will I get that awesome implant?

but back to my question.... is it possible to upgrade another account to a full account and get this gift before the redeem date?

Does it matter if the account was created prior to the gift date but not upgraded prior to it?

So is that a yes, I will get the gift?
Because the trial account right now has nothing to redeem.

Can I spam new trial accounts to get these implants, or is it only those created before the crucible release date?

Hey Im stuck at work so I have not got on yet.

Which slot does the implant go into or is it a hardwiring? Just wondering what i may need to replace

All active (training) characters and paying accounts (not trials) will get the option to redeem the implant up untill the 2nd when they log on...

Edit:

If you try to farm the implants you will get banned.

I don't think so... I mean, for implants to be farmed CCP will need to gain a sub (For even at least a month).
Since implant farming would earn CCP money, and (let's face it) unreasonably charge the farmer, I think it'll work out well for CCP.

No, you will not. Your account has to have been active at the time of them giving the gifts.

So to answer your question, yes, you will get it, if you don't get it, send a petition, and it will be given to you.

I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid.

thanks, was hoping it wouldn't be useless for me but unfortunately it is....oh well

was kinda hoping it would go in the booster slot 1 not implant slot 1 for an additional bonus.

As it stands its not even a bonus as I would lose 1 point of perception

Basically you can buy an extra implant for 500 million isk by means of starting a new account with plex.

Its cheaper to just buy one off someone else.

Well, I planned on starting an alt using the buddy system anyway, I just hadn't gotten around to getting my mains Plex to my alt (who can't accept it in a contract, making it even more of a pain- and my main is strapped for ISK from buying a lot of PLEX, and can't send ISK to the alt to buy one itself without loosing ISK by selling a PLEX),
But... tomorrow, I plan on upgrading it (will be a bit of a pain) with a Plex, and I'll report what happens.

If that works, I think I'll create another account, and see if that one will get it too (with the buddy program, it costs almost nothing to test this)- at this point it might be considered farming, but IMO its just experimenting to see how these redeemable gifts work.

I doubt the result will show them to be farmable, but they might be farmable to the end of the redeem date.
If I was serious about farming it, I would have found out already, as the redeem date nears.
