New players need more interaction with the advertised bad guys not less. Go play another game if you don't like EVE.

There is a safety switch. In your case I would advise using it.

Vexor at 2014-03-09 00:56
Itty at 2014-03-09 01:04

He got the flag at 00:56, at 01:04 he undocked (or jumped) and got killed again. Because of timer (!!!) which had not expired yet.

Result: playing with CONCORD without knowledge about game mechanics is dangerous.

Two things here. First he had to switch the safety to red which is exactly there to prevent this accidents. Then he had to ignore the big warning text that pops into your face when you try to undock a ship while on criminal timer.

Months ago I would have said he is clearly a troll because you can't be that dumb. But then I got this new job where I interact a lot with miners..

Strongly recommend to OP that you post in new players sub forum. If this is serious, you really need some help.

Most successful PVP players take a minute to read up on game mechanics. The majority of new players I run into have some idea of crimewatch and CONCORD as a mechanic at the end of their first week.

6/10 post, lots of bites, bad content.

At first I thought this guy was a troll but the more I read he's just another player that's just too lazy to learn the basic mechanics of the game. Not sure what "cops" or "yellow scrap" are but he didn't get killed by CONCORD for salvaging anything of any color lol...


The Iteron Mark V loss.... That takes special talent to make happen. I've seen this exact same thing where a pilot did an aggressive action, got killed by CONCORD, docked up, undocked right away in an industrial to get killed by CONCORD again...

Instead of blaming the mechanics of the game, take personal responsibility for your actions, educated yourself, and don't make the same mistake twice. Don't know? Ask. No, there should not be a patch for new players. Eve is getting more and more dumbed down for new people as it it.
