Why exactly do you dislike other people playing the game their way?

What exactly makes low-security space and direct PVP essentially more legitimate than carebearing?

I grant that the majority of carebears are intensely stupid, but the sheer childlike rage that permeates the whole anti-carebear thing is an incredibly silly enterprise as a whole. People enjoy playing the game in their own way, and while it's perfectly understandable to gank the shining beacons that are faction ships I can't even see how the moral outrage heaped upon them for providing you with mods and trit is anything but sad.

Really, lowsec and nullsec aren't terribly impressive in themselves, and calling them ~~challenging~~ is a terrible stretch, even in PVP. Consider:

Lowsec PVP: You go around for a few hours looking for T1s to blob, then warp out when a Loki decloaks.
Lowsec PVE: I really hope no one does this.
FW PVP: You sit on a gate with an instalock Cynabal and instapop Rifters. Sometimes you walk into a site and fail to kill a Venture. This is the most hardcore form of EVE PVP ever invented, if only because people actually shoot each other.
FW PVE: You swim around a thing for fifteen minutes at a time and get points you can redeem for money. Sometimes someone kills your Venture and gives you money straight up instead. Alternatively, you go out in a stealth bomber and put your elite skills to work blitzing poorly scripted and balanced content to fund other, more interesting things.
Nullsec PVP: You wait for hours in the shiniest crap you can find camping a gate until something pops into local, then you fail to catch a T1 frig. Sometimes you catch it, and then his fleet jumps in and stomps you.
Nullsec PVE: NEUT TWELVE JUMPS OUT DOCK DOCK DOCK

(Let's not get into fleet battles; the only thing you need to know is that I'm primary.)

W-space is the true master race, of course, but that's besides the point: why exactly are leetpvps so mad at carebears all the time? They're just playing the game the way they like it, even if it happens to be a way you don't like.

Because the moment you even acknowledge that the carebear even exists in local he'll go in a storm of pure unadultered rage that will stop at nothing bombarding you with RL death threats and other stuff that will get him banned just because you didn't leave him alone. Yes even a friendly "Hi" in local turns some miners (aka carebears) into a curse machine. (PS this actually happened to me. I ganked him afterwards and blew up his pos because he forgot to stront it).

Imagine if a carebear actually has to interact with you anyone else in the form of bumping or suicide ganks. They'll blow their house in a nuke of rage.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

What exactly makes carebearing more legitimate than low and null PvP?

I grant that the majority of PvPers are intensely stupid, but the sheer childlike rage that permeates the whole anti-PvP thing is an incredibly silly enterprise as a whole. People enjoy playing the game in their own way, and while it's perfectly understandable to mine for the shining beacons that are faction ships I can't even see how the moral outrage heaped upon them for providing you with market demand is anything but sad.

Really, hisec isn't terribly easy, and calling it a ~~cakewalk~~ is a terrible stretch, even when carebearing.

It didn't take long to locate the tracking beacon, deep inside the quarters for sleepin' They thought they could get away Not today, it's not the way that this kid plays

That's very witty of you.

I don't think anyone considers PvP not to be a legitimate form of gameplay, though.

I PVE in low sec and I enjoy myself immensely. So why is it that you hope no one does it?

I also know quite a few people do level 5's and they are now only available in low sec.

I have access to level 5's, but I chose to solo in a slow region so I have not been able to create the allies necessary to run them.

I had my tear ducts surgically attached to my penis, so that I literally pee when I cry. It also makes harvesting more convenient. That's how much I love Eve. Enjoy.

I exactly don't dislike anyone playing how they like.

Miners, gankers, missioners, scammers, or whatever. Each to their own.

Don't we have a half-dozen threads related to this topic at the moment? Did we really need another one?
