24/7 cloaky campers

It be nice if 24/7 cloaked ships could be scan-able with maxed skiils. A cloaked ship would need to move in between safe spots and be active. not autonomous just streaming a station as a bot.

FIX
if a ship stayed constant cloaked for 30 min its module would burn out and a cloaking module should uses isotopes as fuel based on the ship type

And if a person is asking for isk to leave system they should be banned. That is just an autonomous way of plex-ing accounts. because in a way it is no different then maco mining and exploit. Giving advantage to one player over the other. since the person can not be scanned and has no risk. Worse is not playing the game and just begging people to pay for his account. BY automated and robotics means. These people don't respond to chat as they are not on their computer even as this is done

Except for the banning all those ideas have been brought up dozens of times before and it hasn't gotten the argument anywhere.

Hell, for a while ISD was locking all the local/cloaky threads within hours.

Does this mean we can ban the people sitting in station and spamming scams in Jita? Because sitting in station has even less risk than sitting cloaked in space.

Depends how quick they can log on. They could be losing 3.428571428571429 hours per day if they are at work or school.

If you get really lucky you get the server reboots midday (for oceanic anyway) and downtime comes real early. Saw this a few times and they cloaky didn't come online after. One of the few times being oceanic/asia tz getting screwed paid off really since ccp loves to have server limp till our playtime then fixes issues.



CCP gave out a free cloaky for a yule lad present. Can sort of guess what their stance on this is from that lol.

You're contradicting yourself by calling them afk cloaky campers.
If they're truly afk you have nothing to fear from them while you semi-afk your ratting carrier in your sanctums. In fact, you're probably AFK more and gaining more from it than the cloaky character. You set drones to agressive and go watch your japanese cartoons while your sentries tear aparts the red X's and fill your wallet.
In a righteous world the cloaky would gain a share from your bounty and you would have to pay him per hour while ratting.

I knew a system had an afk cloaky in it (I e-stalked the name...noticed while he had kills galore in USTZ not even a peep my timezone so i wagered he was USTZ and away when I played) . It scared away many people. Me..I was happy he was there. Good belt system all to myself to make some isk from.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.
