I must say, I like the wardrobe change. It makes you look very Keanau Reeves, circa Matrix era.

Oh, and to the OP: Quit the game, and do me a favor and give me any stuff you have before you do.

1* Ship movement is hollywood physics.

2* Stations do have only hangar and one room. Where are others? Why I can't interact with others in stations?

3* PVE is really, really, really, really, really boring. Level two and I am done with it. Exploration is the same, but with RNG deciding if you get fancy loot after gazillion clicks.

4* Weapons and combat is boring. Press F1 and that's it. Maybe orbit, maybe little bit of distance control, but that's it.

5* Industrial and market are okay, but trading game...not fun. It's boring.

6* Training skills takes forever. Your personal skills do not matter. Skills are just timers that tell you to come back six months later.

7* Game feels like second job. That's not fun.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed in the game OP.

I don't feel the game is as you describe, but you are allowed to feel what you want.

My issue with EvE would be the new player experience, but that's not necessarily what this thread is about so I'll not go into it without provocation.

This is actually one of the better letters of why EVE isn't the game for them, of the several letters that have been posted of late.
It's still whiney, but at least it has a list and EVE is called beautiful. Which I think it is too.
His list is quite telling, in that it shows why someone like him, who is probably very good at WoW, simply cannot cut it in the EVE universe. And lets face it, all the recent complaints have been by folks who just cannot succeed at the game.
And that is a good thing.
That is why I play EVE! Because it is a different game than the OP and the other complainers are used to.
I hope CCP keeps doing what it's doing. Because complaints like this, as well spoken as they are, are a good thing.

Eve is a 'sandbox', what you get out of it is based on what you bring into it.

If you are finding it boring, then maybe you are the problem, not the game.

Also: 15 day old player claiming the whole game is boring.... ShockedLolRoll

I always lol @ this review. Not only is it six years old now, OP flat out admits that he refuses to join a player corp or interact with other players, engages in no combat with other players, and generally hugs high-sec and mines rocks and runs missions before declaring eve "Boring."

Eve is what you make of it. Want some content? Get out there and create some. :-)

to me the big bonus to eve is that its one of the only MMOs out there that does a great job of supporting team play, unfortunatly it only knows how to do this by making things take vast amounts of time in one way or another. this can make the game seem "boring" at times

i will agree tho that skill training can be annoying, its not so bad for veterans but for new people flying even seemingly basic stuff for vets can have you taking up entire months worth of subscription time training

Never bothered me but then again I'm not in the 'must have niow crowd'.
It was worse in the past where we had to deal with learning skills, skills that didn't gave you anything 'new' to play with just a little bump in training speed, now that was "fun".

Learning skills were considered by many to be the most important first skills to obtain. Learning this branch of skills decreased the time it took to learn the rest of the skills available. Ugh

Oh link for those who are so fortunate not to have to learn them. Smile

haha i remember learning skills (and the 600k+ refunded points), i will agree that it is much better now, i still think there could be some room for improvment, i dont have any solid suggestions tho

I been playing for a month. The first few days it was tough learning what to do. Now I been doing PvE and sometimes PVP . Everytime I died I got a story too tell. I usually even talk to people who killed me and I learn more, and that gets me into new things to try. The game is awesome, and is in space. and this comments comes from someone that does not have a lot of time to spend in it.

I like the butterfly effect of all the actions of the game.

THe part I love and hate is when I loose my ship I loose a lot, but I rememeber why i lost it..
