How many bombs is needed to kill:

1 Friggates without MWD on

Cruisers without mwd on

battlecruisers.



Hard to calculate dps from bombs

Dont just [u]think[/u] outside the box, [u]Live[/u] outside of it...

It would yes, but I am wondering if isboxing 5 bombers would be enough, 10 bombers would be enough etc

I realise the more the better but with plex prices going up and up I cant run all my accounts :(

Give one of your accounts a frigate/cruiser/etc, the rest of your accounts bombers and do some experiments, post the results here for us.

PLEX prices is making all PLEX buyers poor at the moment.

There are some people who post here that have a lot of bomber experience, so hopefully someone who has that knowledge will answer your question.

He'll have to limit his test to I believe 5 anyway unless he wishes to control 2 fleets coming in separately. Beyond that and you will lose bombs in the explosions. Someday I'll hit something with the bombs I launch. LOL

Hmm. Have prices on bombs dropped that much?

When I last checked it would have been cheaper to convo the pilot and ask "Hey, I'll pay you X mill ISK if you self-destruct your frigate" than doing a bombing run :)

I'm pretty sure the damage reduction is a ratio of target sig radius / bomb explosion radius (400).

The rest of the stats you need are here:

...and DPS is the last thing you want to worry about for bombs - it's all alpha.

between 3-5 bombs will kill most MSE/200mm fitted frigs. Of course damage type makes a difference here. I would Assume 5.

With a MWD it is of course one bomb. And well 5 bombs are going to be putting the pain on cruisers and up as well, esp if active tanked without a buffer. Dessys often require less because they have such a small tank and are quite big compared to a frig.

My MSE bomber typically survives 4 bombs... Sometimes 5.

The big thing with frigs is the fast align times. They can often bug out before the bombs go off.

And who cares about the cost of bombs. A successful bomb run is worth the isk on its own.
