asteriod selection problem

Im fairly new to the game been only playing a bit more than a month and used to have no problems but after this patch when i select a asteroid it stays selected is there a way to deselect all?

its kinda annoying trying to find what i want to lock onto with 50 asteroid names overlapping and not being able to see names by mousing over

I would suggest setting up your overview to only show the asteroid types you want.

Select them using the overview - rather than clicking in space :D

Set your overview to show the type of asteroids you want from the settings

Using a survey scanner will tell you what the asteroid is, how much ore is in it and how far away it is. And its a lot easier to use than fiddling with your overview settings.

Are you standing where you should be?
