Neural remap on old character

I'm wondering if it's worth remapping my attributes as I have an old char with 2 more attribute points as the current maximum is, so if I do the remap, I will lose those 2 extra attribute points?

Yes.

If it is "worth it", depends on what you plan to do.

As I recall from past discussions like this, I don't think you actually have more total attribute points than the maximum, you just may have two more in a single attribute than is allowed anymore. So you're not going to lose anything overall by remapping, you just have to even out your allocation slightly.

Whether you want to remap mostly depends on whether there are any more skills you want to train using that stat as primary while you're still slightly "superhuman" in it.

So:
Use the current map you have to train anything that it affects.
Then remap, according to your next skill needs.

Extra attributes have no value unless they are being used.
Training skills slower just to *save* them, will have a bad long term result.

I used to have 15 Charisma and +2 Willpower. I remapped PER>WIL after about 3 years, as I didn't need a general mapping any longer.
