Is it possible to show the rank you get in FW to others, as it is with medals?

Yes, it shows by defualt under decorations

I cann't see anything under decorations. I have the rank 'Vengance Captiain' (Minmatar), but am not in the FW Corp anymore. The medal shows in the decoration Tab if I open my character sheet, but if I rightclick on my ship and select me to see how others see me there is nothing in the Decorations tab. Can I set it to private/public or something?

The FW rank only shows when you are in FW. Outside, the best option you have is to create another medal (your own) and title it identically, though you will not be able to make the same little icon.

Uh, thats sad. Making my own is not the same as showing the real one. Thaks for the awnser.

Is it possible to have more than one rank? e.g. A Minmatar and a Amarr? I understand that it's difficult to get the high ranks for both because of the standing drop for the other side than you are fightig for at the moment, but is it possible? I never tried.

Yes, it is possible to hold more than one, but you'll only ever be able to show one of them publically - if you gain rank in Caldari, then drop from Caldari militia, join Minmatar and gain rank there, your Minmatar rank will show up while you're in Minmatar milita, and your Caldari rank will only be visible to you under Decorations.

Not that I've ever switched sides or anything. *looks shifty*

Unfortunately the ranks just flaunt that you carebear a lot. I have always been of the persuasion that FW decorations should be based on some combination of pvp kills and plexing vp's
