Revelation: God Places Mark of Destruction on Minmatar Republic

Lost Scripture, lately revealed from God unto Nauplius, a prophet of God unto the Empyreans —

  1. And Azor went in to his wife, and she conceived sons: Ab-hel was a keeper of Genetically Enhanced Livestock, but Cay-nee was a tiller of the Amarrian Wheat.
  2. And it came to pass that Cay-nee brought forth out of the Amarrian Wheat an offering unto God.
  3. But unto Cay-nee and his offering God had not respect. And Cay-nee was very wroth, and his countenance was as a wet, mangy, old slaver hound.
  4. And Ab-hel talked with Cay-nee his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Ab-hel rose against his brother and slew him with a GN-20 Specialist Flaylock Pistol.
  5. And God said unto Ab-hel, the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground and is a delight unto mine ears and a sweet taste unto my lips.
  6. Therefore, lap thou thy brother's blood from the ground and be nourished, for thy sacrifice of him pleaseth me.
  7. And God set a mark upon the descendents of Cay-nee, so that any man finding them would kill them and drain their blood, offering one part a sacrifice unto God and keeping one part for his own nourishment.
  8. And the descendents of Ab-hel were much feared in the land and the people made obedience and supplication unto them, and their city was called Goth-Amar.

This, then, is the meaning of the Scripture: God has given the Minmatar Republic over to destruction and bloodletting. And God has placed the Mark of Cay-nee upon the Minmatar Republic, and the Mark of Cay-nee is tribal tattoos.

How easy and light is the yoke of God! Look at the population figures lately come down to us —
Minmatar Republic Population: 9.641 Trillion
Amarr Empire Non-Slave Population: 21.449 Trillion
Amarr Empire Enslaved Minmatar Population: 10.712 Trillion
Amarr Empire Minimum Possible Population (Non-Slave + Minmatar Slave): 32.161 Trillion
But that is not all, for it does not count non-Minmatar slaves; nor does it count the Khanid Kingdom, nor (perhaps) the Ammatar Mandate, the latter of which would be on the side of the Amarr Empire in any conflict. The only reserve population source for the Republic is the Great Wildlands; taken all together the population ratio of Greater Amarr versus Greater Republic could be as high as 4:1 or 5:1.

What a simple work God has placed before us! And yet the blood of the Minmatar Republic, properly sacrificed unto God, shall cleanse the sins of God's wayward Chosen people and shall fuel a thousand conquests more. Amen. Amarr Victor.

Actually I think his problem is too much "medication" ... of the recreational variety.

What happens after you've killed everybody? This philosophy doesn't make any sense. Eventually you're going to run out...

I dunno... In small doses maybe they got somethin, but grand-scale sacrifices? I don't think they're thinking that far ahead...

Though, can this dude think that far ahead? He doesn't seem too bright.

Short answer, no. Nauppie can't think that far ahead. He has given himself a goal that will take more time then he has in his life to complete. He should be sufficiently entertained for the rest of his career as a pilot though.

Well the theory was that he was either with the Blood Raiders or EoM, or just a TLF plant sent as a propaganda piece to make the Amarr look "moar evil." The problem was when he reached cartoon proportions of lunacy people stopped taking either of the first two options serious (even the Sabik have publicly denounced him, now) so that leaves us EoM or a terrible TLF plant. The deciding evidence will be when someone does some background digging on all the people that he's been murdering: If they're just random slaves, then EoM. If they just "happen" to all be Minmatar who practice the Amarrian Faith, then TLF plant all the way.

Either way, I'd really like to see a statement from Nalmid Lebon about how this heretic managed to get into their ranks.

Sani Sabik has never and never will deny those chosen by GOD! Nauplius' prophecies speak truths and adhere to our beliefs. Nauplius does not claim to BE GOD as your false savior jamyl has! He is speaking GODs words as was told to him. Denying Nauplius would be denying the word of GOD!

Flaylock pistols are Minmatar in origin.

    Your "revelations" are clearly heresy.

I call foul anyway: an unaugmented human attempting to fire any variant of Flaylock would at the very least suffer a Galeazzi fracture. The kick on those things is tough for a clonemerc wearing a power-assisted dropsuit to handle, and those guys can flip over armoured LAVs with one hand and not too much difficulty.

Oh, and let's not forget the perforated eardrum, shoulder subluxation and probably an amputated trigger finger.

Isn't there a considerable backdraft from the munition as it leaves the chamber as well?

Oh yeah. I clean forgot about the second-degree burns to any exposed epidermis along the hand, forearm, upper arm, chest and face, not to mention the corneal damage if the shooter isn't wearing eye protection. And exhaust particulates driven into the burned epidermis, often resulting in toxic shock.

Still, at least he didn't specify a clone-merc grade blaster weapon like the newly-prototyped Ion Pistols, which has all that good stuff plus thirty milliSieverts of cyclotron radiation with every shot.

Well you know how infantry-grade blaster weapons have traditionally been bulky, impractical and underpowered thanks to the need to prevent the operator from fatally irradiating themselves just by firing it?

Well, the advent of shielded dropsuits, the DUST implant and of course the proprietary tech that Duvolle Labs developed for the G75-VLB has meant that there's now a market for particle-blaster light weaponry. Hence, the Ion Pistol. A dose of radiation that will negatively impact your long-term stochastic health really is of zero concern for clone mercenaries whose average on-mission life expectancy is something in the region of two minutes.

Of course, being clonemercs and therefore completely insane, the standard model they've adopted is the one without safety limiters and internal temperature controls. I'll let you take a second to appreciate just how hot that gun might get.

It's all in answer to Kaalakiota's microscale rail weaponry program and the equipment the Empire invented for Project Templar. There's an arms race going on right now in the field of weapons which assume that their operator A: is as strong as an MTAC and B: regards their own survival as a happy bonus.

Investing in weapons manufacturers is a pretty sure-fire win at the moment. Kaalakiota, Ishukone, Duvolle, Creodron, Six Kin, and Viziam are all posting big profits from their weaponry divisions compared to this time two years ago. Every one of them is on the Expert Finances "Hot Buy" list.

That's equal parts fascinating and terrifying.

And I don't just mean the gun, I mean the fact that you're sounding like an Echelon Entertainment reporter and you're really good at it.

Go away, Nappy. We're talking about clonemerc-grade firearms now.

I'm still amused by the forge gun, AKA the Deep Core Mining DS-1. It's not actually a weapon, it's mining equipment - it just turns out to be really good at mining tanks.
