Yeah that’s normal. Eve players are supposed to have a hole in their chest where their heart is supposed to be. If you have heart in this game, you get killed.

Hi,

We are aware of some issues with cached old character data causing this kind of corruption after the patch yesterday. In the first instance, try clearing your cached data via the ESC menu. Reset Settings -> Clear All Cache Files. This should fix most instances of this problem.

If you continue to experience problems, please submit a bug report including your DXDiag file and a screenshot.

Everybody in the real world is born with a hole in their chest.

Some try to fill it with material things.. with money.. others with food.. Some will even try to put other people in that hole.

go ahead and laugh, but some of us actually like the idea of being able to interact with our characters in stations.


as for the OP, yea, no that's not normal, but then again they screwed up a lot of stuff with our characters and what not with this patch... so with that in mind, it's not that much of a surprise that your chest disappeared.

We're looking into the shadows problem on the character portraits.

For those that are experiencing the problem, can you tell me if you've re-customized your character and/or taken a new portrait after yesterday's patch?
